Former Ending (Didn't Make It)

A.N.: This is the former and original ending this book was meant to have.

However, along the way I realized, it may not be that good.

BUT! I also decided to keep it and let you guys choose which one you prefer.

Author's POV:

I hit the publish button after hovering over it with my thumb for minutes.

I smile softly as I put my phone down. Done with writing my Wattpad book. Finally. But also silently saying goodbye to the characters I created.

I’m saying goodbye to characters who have held a special place in my brain for the last couple of months.

And I'm reluctant to leave the characters I have created. But everything comes to an end. And maybe I will face them one day again.

I stand up. Going to use the bathroom, but first I check how I look in the mirror. I rub the dark circles under my eyes.

With a sigh, I get moving.

It doesn't take me long to get ready for school. I gather my things including my phone which vibrates with potential messages from my happy friend saying that I finally updated and finished the book on Wattpad.

I smile at the thought of that. Always been my number-one fan and supporter.

I walk to the bus stop and hop onto the bus. Putting my earbuds in I play my Spotify playlist. I look out of the window watching the scenery fly by.

When I arrive at my destination I begin my walk through a park to my school. There I see multiple couples. They found each other. Noticed each other even. I find that strangely wholesome.

Normally I would be disgusted or jealous. Now I'm just... I don't know. I mean... Why the fuck should I care? Let people be happy in their own way.

I'm still waiting for someone to notice me. But hey. One day, right?

As I enter my school I'm met with a pair of arms wrapping around me.

Soon they pull away and the first thing I see are cute little cherry earnings. I smile and look at my friend.

"Hello, Sienna," they greet me.

I smile at the greeting.

Look at that. Maybe I already faced one of the characters. With the main one even.

Myself.

I may not be lucky enough to get the ending of the book Sienna got. But at least one of us did. And I may not be the main character in my story but it felt nice to give that to my book self.

I saved her.

I on the other hand am still waiting for saving. Or to someone notice me.

Maybe just maybe I will get the happy ending too.

And I'm looking forward to it.

I may have said goodbye to my characters but I’m saying hello to entirely new characters who are just starting to form in my mind.
