TW: arguing, fluff, mention of triggering topics.

You had just got out of the shower after washing your hair, you did your hair care and skin care routine...you dried and curled your hair making it beach wavy. You got into your pyjamas placing a large silk dressing gown on the top just about wrapping it around your pregnant belly. You was 8 months pregnant with your ex boyfriends baby, it wasn't something you was proud of. You loved carrying your baby the only thing was they baby was your ex's, as soon as you told Jake you was pregnant he left leaving you alone in your huge house in Chelsea on your own.

Luckily you had a big family, and loads of amazing friends that lived around you...your best friend mason being one of them. Your mom was good friends with his mom you'd brown up together, mason never liked Jake he always put you off about him...you and Jake had been seeing each other for three years that was until you found out you was pregnant. He left you effortlessly, leaving mason to pick up the broken pieces of your heart trying too slowly repair it. You'd grown even more fond of mason since, he refused to let you live alone in your huge home you'd brought...he stayed over every night in your spare room.

He'd been cooking dinner for you both when he didn't order food in, you'd had a key cut for mason when Jake left. You'd always been overly fond on mason, but it had only become more prominent when he started acting like your boyfriend. Everyone you went out he was extremely over protective of you and your bump, you got a lot of questions if mason was the farther...mason stood silently awaiting what you was comfortable with telling them, a lot of the time you said yes he'd okay along with it. The truth was mason loved you, and he didn't care if they baby wasn't his...he'd happily bring it up to be his own.

Neither you or mason spoke about your feelings, you didn't want to scare him away with the thought of you trapping him with a child that wasn't even his. You had no idea that was what mason wanted he wanted to bring this baby up with you as his own, he wanted to be the farther figure...he'd been quite lately and extremely sheepish, you sat on the sofa awaiting his arrival home...then you saw yours and masons best friends name pop up on the screen...Declan.

"Hi Dec!" You exclaimed happily down the phone.

"Hey you, how are ya?" He asked giving the same energy back.

"I'm okay thank you, just about waddling around." You heard him laugh. "How are you and Lauren?"

"We're alright thanks, is mase at yours yet?" He asked.

"No he's not." You said thinking about the fact he was still not here. "I don't know where he is."

"Have you tried ringing him?" Declan asked.

"No-doesn't he have training?" You asked him.

"Yeah he should do it's a Thursday night!" He said.

"He usually finished about six o'clock is seven now." You worried slightly now.

"I'll head over with Lauren to yours now until he gets back, I'm picking laur up now anyway."

"Are you sure, you don't have to you know." You sighed.

"Don't be silly, we don't want you on your own your nearly ready to pop y/n...we'll be with you In ten mins." He said before hanging up the phone.

Mason:

You: I don't want to ring,
Just incase your driving...
Dec and laur are coming over
Until you get back. Let me know
Your okay I'm worried mase xx

You had a horrible feeling deep down he didn't want to come back, you wouldn't blame him sleeping at your pregnant best friends house isn't ideal. You didn't want to be in the house without mason there, he made you feel safe...when you was sick he'd hold your hair back and rub your back gently, he'd get your drinks and food and cuddle up to you and calm you down. He was amazing and he'd been there every step of the way of your pregnancy journey just like any dad would be. You was scared about having your first child without a father figure there, but mason had even booked you into a private hospital with a birthing room for you.
