This is a series!

One thing they never told you about dating a famous footballer was how much you would have to give up, your childhood was revolved around football matches. Your family being best friends with mason mounts family was never easy...especially when you and mason grew up into falling for each other. It was never easy or simple loving him, you sacrificed most things for him. Moving away from Portsmouth where your whole life, and family was...moving to London to support him with his next football journey with Chelsea. Mason knew how hard it was for you; moving that distance but luckily it wasn't too far from Portsmouth, you say too far it was still two hours and a half.

You'd lived with mason in London for five years now, you'd got used to the city life. You shared a home in the streets of cobham near Stamford bridge...you felt at home at the bridge, you'd grew up going with yours and masons family when he used to play when he was younger. Then he ended up coming back to Chelsea, it was hard for mason constantly on the move with matches all over the place. He was drained most of the time, you felt helpless as you either traveled or had to stay at home. Neither was easy...you did it all for him. Mason was everything you could dream of, selfless, gentle, caring, funny, loving. And he'd do anything for you, his mom always said how much he loved you even from teens.

You was masons everything, alongside his previous football club. Chelsea was his whole world, the fans, the club, the football boys, and most importantly his real friends who he'd gained a solid relationship with on the pitch...lately things had been stirring between you and mason, the media and fans constantly messaging you about a rumoured move. Every time you approached mason about it he shut you down, he told you everything all the time. You was his comfort and he was yours, you hated waiting for him to come back from training and matches lately, he just wasn't himself. He'd been coming back, going to the gym in your house, showering, you'd eat together then he'd crash in bed.

You and mason spent as much time together as possible, lately you'd felt alone in the house and in the relationship. You'd started to wonder weather the rumours where true, they'd seemed to be dragging mason down wearing him out. In recent Chelsea's matches he'd scored and not even celebrated it- you could feel yourself getting to breaking point. You was stood in your huge kitchen admiring how hard mason worked to get here, you admired everything he did. He was amazing, you stood over the sink cleaning the remains of last nights cooking shenanigans...you heard the front door open and close then you heard the sound of mason cough before he wondered into the kitchen.

You glanced at him threw the window that was in front of you as you carried on cleaning, he approached you wrapping his arms gently around your waist pulling your back into his front. You felt his chest steady and his body relax, you placed your hands on his and relaxed into his warm touch. He buried his head into your neck inhaling your sweet scent, before paving a soft innocent kiss to your collarbone.

"How was training?" You asked softly.

"Not too bad." He mumbled into your neck.

"Mase I think we need to talk." You said biting down on your lip.

"Okay." He said unsure about what.

"Are you leaving Chelsea?" You said pulling out of his touch your eyes meeting his.

"Look belly, please don't start this I've had enough of fans messaging me about it." He sighed running his hands over is face in annoyance.

"Mase, just talk to me please." You pleaded with him.

"I don't need to bell!" He huffed.

"Yes you do mason!" You exclaimed taking him back. "We've not been right since all of these rumours, if your leaving Chelsea I deserve to know!" You shook your head at him in annoyance. "Mason were in this together I moved a whole two hours away from my family for you! To support you!"

"I know you did!" He fumed. "You know how much I appreciate it!"

"Just tell me the truth!" You spat. "What's going on."

"Nothing for fuck sake!" He snapped.

"Your lying!" You sighed in frustration.

"If you don't tell me mason I'm packing my stuff up and going back to Portsmouth." You said watching him process what you'd said as his eyes widened.

"You wouldn't." He said. "You can't!"

"Then tell me the truth!" You said angrily.

"I can't!" He cried out.

"Then I'm going!" You spat, you ran up your staircase slamming the door to yours and masons room shut.

The tears ran down your cheeks, you couldn't understand why he couldn't tell you what was going on. You was meant to be a team, you was meant to be in it together...your heart felt hurt. You felt hurt. You grabbed your suitcase and bags and packed everything inside of them, you grabbed all of your stuff and walked in down stairs getting your car keys loading it into your car. Mason stood at the huge black doors to your home, tears rolling down his tear stained cheeks his eyes blood shot. You shut the boot to your car, you couldn't believe out of everything football had finally got in between the two of you.

"Belly please." He cried out running down your drive bear foot.

"No mason." You sniffled threw your cries.

"You can't drive like this Izzy." Mason chocked on his cries, it broke your heart seeing him in such a state.

"We was meant to be in this together." You said before getting in your car, mason grabbed the door pleading and begging with you.

"Please you don't understand." He cried.

"Then help me understand." You cried.

"I will it just needs time please understand Isabella!" He cried in frustration.

"Get lost mount." You shook your head slamming your car door shut, you watched mason break down as you reversed down the drive way and made your way back to Portsmouth.

After a long two hours and thirty minutes of driving you was finally home, a sense of relief washed over you...you saw your mom swing the door open a relived look on her face when she saw you'd got hear safe. You glanced at your phone seeing multiple missed calls from, mason, Declan, Ben, your mom, dad, Debbie and Tony masons mom and dad. You got out of your car and your mom held her arms out, you rushed into them as you fell to your knees crying out while she held you. She sat on the front drive comforting you for at least half an hour, while your dad un loaded your stuff from the car. Your mom walked you inside and made you a hot chocolate, when your mom and dad sat  down on the sofa opposite you.

"Is this about masons transferring rumours." Your dad spoke softly.

"I just wanted him to tell me what's going on." You sniffed. "We're meant to tell each other everything after all I did move to London for him does he not think I deserve to know if I'm not going to have to move to Manchester!" You got even more upset and angry speaking about it.

"Darling, we love you so much, and we know mason loves you just as much." Your mom said. "He would tell you if he could, Chelsea and Manchester United are probably debating and fighting over mason, mason might not be able to say what's going on as he might not even know himself yet."

"I get that." You wiped your tears away. "But it's the fact he just won't tell me anything at all...he's not even told me they have offered for him to go to Man U."

"Chelsea is his home since young belly." Your dad sighed. "The trouble is with football you never know a clubs next move...or a footballers next move, you know how much you mean to our mase whatever has happened or does happen you'll both figure it out."

"I can't move all the way to Manchester." You shook your head.

"Darling you love him, you moved to London for him, we'll always be a car, train ride away or a phone call away." Your mom reassured you.

"But how about if I don't want to move again, I keep moving further and further away." You sighed.

"Then you've got to ask yourself is it worth loosing the love of your life over." Your mom stood up and kissed your head before leaving you with your dad.

"Things we'll work out soon darling...I promise." Your dad said softly.
