That was all Mark Lee, the leader of Neo Dream Tech or more commonly know as NCT Dream, saw during his missions with his enemy squirming in his tightening grasp. No one would able to pry Mark from his violent trance because once he started his task—his mind blanking—he was going to finish it without a single care given.
He is ruthless, cold hearted to the naked eye even. His strong facial structure and his electric blue gelled back hair that revealed his forehead complimented his cold demeanor, seemingly dominant and could make a person crumble just by the sharp stare of his piercing brown iris.
The members of NCT—the widely known mafia gang in South Korea that is divided into three subunits: 127, Dream, and WayV—never gotten in the way of the young leader's missions, tending to steer away from his bad side most of the time. However, they all had their ways about them that they collectively come to understand within time and years of being affiliated with one another.
Once the killing began, it was hard to stop. Now, Mark was not a psycho but he knew the difference between the good people of the country and the bad and he necessarily had an obsession with obliterating the ones with evil intent, especially when he knew lives could be at risk if he had not done so.
It was his job as being part of a mafia, conditioned to be this way starting at the age of twelve.
Dressed in black, a black leather jacket zipped up to his neck line and black leather pants, his gun as well as pocket knives clipped on his belt that was hidden underneath his jacket. Stealthily walking through the back of an abandoned building with his members for back up, he listened to the eyes of their hacker wordlessly.
"Jun, any updates on movement?" Jeno, or Nono, asked through the ear piece they all shared. On smaller missions like these, their hacker and doctor were not needed for an outdoor mission. They were needed back at the base, one to keep eyes on everything going on from behind the scenes and the other to be prepared to stitch people back up when they return.
"Same as earlier. They're still in that one room you guys are heading to," Renjun told them, his fingers skillfully running across the keyboard to disarm any sounding alarms that might give away their presence.
"How many?" Jisung, or Ji, asked as the three males lined up against the wall beside the door of the room that they would soon enter.
"Two, but that's suspicious so stay fully aware while I scan the building again," Renjun suggested, moving his mouse on his keypad to enlarged the view of the cameras in the building. There was nothing exciting about the building at all. It was empty, the paints of the walls were peeling, and there were spider webs to be spotted, indicating its abandoned nature.
"You've checked the cameras like eighty times already! Can we just go in?!" Jisung whined with a hushed voice. "My daggers are begging to be used."
"Kinky," Jeno flatly stated, a wiggle of his eyebrows.
"Will you both shut up?! It doesn't hurt to double check. The last thing we need is you guys to get hurt," Renjun affirmed with a groan of annoyance. Meanwhile, Mark was silent the entire time and planning how to kill each person in the room respectively. Yes, Mark was a hog when it came to killing but he could be a team player too.
"Okay, go now!" Renjun commanded.
Mark, being the extra mafia leader he was, kicked the door down with one hand on his hip that had access to his weapons. Two men in what seemed to be a storage room, were tied up to a chair and their hands and ankles were tightly wrapped with rope. Their mouths were covered with a white cloth as Mark forcefully stepped close to rip the cloths from their mouth.
