A small, familiar pub was where Mark headed too after his violent game previously. He knew this pub to be his soulmate's, Lee Donghyuck. Yes, Mark knew who his soulmate was, where he worked, how he looked, and when his birthday was. He knew everything about him.
Do not be so surprised, Mark is a mafia leader after all and has access to knowing many things.
In all actuality when Mark turned twenty one, the young male's name appeared on his body. And once it was fully inked, he had Renjun do his research and background history on the male—which was a complete invasion of privacy if you asked the hacker.
Everything about Donghyuck's life, including his grandparents and parents, were information that Mark received and studied thoroughly, making sure he knew it like the back of his hand.
The thought of having a soulmate did not sit well with Mark because of his mafia gang affiliations that his soulmate would eventually be dragged into. So because of this, Mark wanted to know everything about Donghyuck in order to protect his soulmate's identity from possible threats.
Donghyuck was feisty and very sassy; there was no hair on his tongue at all and Mark was glad about that to say the least yet he could not help but to be worried. With an attitude like that, Donghyuck could get into problems with people he encounters so he has to be very careful and aware.
It is bad enough that the younger had many school fights with his best friend Jaemin when he was younger...and they did not win a single one of them. Sure, Donghyuck may have landed a good hit or two, but the strength of the people he fought with was no match for him.
Ultimately, this gave Mark the idea that there was hope in the possibility of training Donghyuck for self defense since he already has the fearless attitude. But he would not throw that at the younger so soon and besides, Donghyuck does not even know of Mark or who his soulmate actually is right now—let alone know of NCT.
Knowing that your soulmate is part of the country's most dangerous and feared mafia gang, is not something Mark thinks the tanned male would be okay with at first. Especially after their encounter today, Donghyuck already has a knick to pick with Mark so what more when he finds out that he is his soulmate? Or even worse, that his soulmate is a mafia leader?
Mark chuckled lowly, thinking about the tanned male as he was on his way back to the NCT base. Donghyuck sure was ballsy today, Mark will give him that much. He had been watching Donghyuck ever since he received his soulmate tattoo, but this was his first interaction with the younger.
Probably was not the best interaction, but it was something.
It was in Mark's nature to be conditioned to being cold to the core, keeping his guard up at all times. He can not trust anyone so easily which is why his aura and demeanor are the way it is.
Sitting in front of a flirtatious Donghyuck was hard..it was too hard not to cave in to him. Staring out the window was all he could do in attempt to tame his impure mind. He could not help but be mesmerized by Donghyuck's beauty. He had seen it before through a screen, but in person was beyond compare.
Imagine watching the content of your favorite artist, anticipating their tour dates. Getting the privilege to go and see said artist feel like a dream come true, being in the venue feels unreal and you still can not process or believe it is happening. And when you see you favorite artist finally begin to perform, you are in complete awe and shock because they look nothing like the way they are illustrated online.
In fact, they looked like nothing you could ever imagine. It is a type of beauty that just can not be described. There are no words to voice out your built up mix of emotions, riding throughout your body. All you can do is sit there and stare, hoping that this was really happening and that the enchanting view you were seeing was indeed real.
