Donghyuck made it to the recovery room, a palm glued to his eye that was hurting. There were bruises forming on his face and that could only mean one thing:

Mark was getting hurt.

Donghyuck panicked, hoping for the pain to stop.

"Donghy- oh my god!" Chenle said with shock, pulling Donghyuck to sit down on the hospital as he grabbed an ice pack.

"What happened?!" Chenle asked, replacing Donghyuck's palm on his face with the pack of ice.

"Mark," Donghyuck's eyes watered as Chenle sighed with relief.

"The pain and bruising will go away quickly then. Leave that on your face for a few minutes and you'll be good as new," Chenle confirmed as Donghyuck slowly nodded.

"W-What about Mark? Is he okay?" Donghyuck rapidly asked, worried for his soulmate who was currently out on a mission and seemed to be taking some strong hits.

Chenle nodded with a confident smile.

"He is just fine. Later, I suggest you two to heal each other's wounds. You guys are soulmates so you have that capability. You can also link minds if you really need to talk to each other as well and make sure you guys are okay. And also, you won't be getting any bruising soon while Mark if hurt. Your body will be accustomed to it in a little while," Chenle explained, writing a few things down on his clipboard as Donghyuck listened.

"I can link minds with him?" Donghyuck questioned and Chenle hummed in response.

"Yeah, try it later when he comes back! Maybe while he's in the bathroom or something to see if it works," Chenle stated as Donghyuck cringed, his nose scrunching.

"I don't want to listen to him use the bathroom."

Chenle bursted out a laugh, "Okay, okay." He had to calm his breathing before wiggling his brows. "I'm just saying, it might do some arousal if you really want it."

"Zhong Chenle!" Donghyuck removed the ice pack and raised it in the air, threatening to his the younger Chinese with it.

Chenle could not stop laughing as Donghyuck rolled his eyes, dropping the ice pack on the bed before sliding off go check his face in the mirror. There was no more pain and the bruising had gone away.

He left the recovery room to find Renjun, finding him in the security room footage. Donghyuck had taken a tour of the entire mansion the other day so he is somewhat now familiarized with it—he saw everything but the dungeon due to Mark's strict objection.

Donghyuck stepped inside the room since the door was wide open, keyboards were laid out across the desk as screens decorated the entire room. Renjun had a headset on as he was looking into the cameras of what seemed to be their gang's mission.

"If you were trying to be sneaky, you failed," Renjun suddenly spoke which startled the younger ans made him jump.

"That's not what i was doing," Donghyuck defended as he shook his head.

"Yes, Mark. That's Donghyuck," Renjun said which confused the younger, but then he realized he had access to talk to the members during a mission since he was their eyes behind the camera. "Why don't you fucking tell him? I'm not your deliver man."

Donghyuck swayed from one leg to another as he picked at the nails on his fingers.

Renjun groaned, turning around in his swivel chair with a forced smile on his face. "Mark is okay. Don't worry about him. He said he will also be home soon so don't be afraid."

Donghyuck reluctantly nodded, "Y-you're not too hurt, are you?"

Renjun scoffed as he listened to Mark's response in his ear, "Taeyong would be pissed if he heard that."
