The four of them stayed around for a while longer until Donghyuck decided to give Jaemin and Jeno some alone time for a bit while he went to check on his grandparents with Mark.

Jaemin told Donghyuck that they were doing well this morning when he took care of them earlier.

Donghyuck was excited to see them since he had been a bit too busy to have come sooner every since he had been training to officially join the mafia.

Mark drove him and the younger with one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand on Donghyuck's thigh, caressing it lightly and soothingly over the tanned male's tattoo.

Donghyuck's breath hitched each time Mark's hands inched closer towards the inside of the younger's pants.

The younger slapped the back of Mark's hand, "N-no."

Mark rolled his eyes and retracted his hand to rest it in Donghyuck's knee. "This is the first I'm hearing a no from you."

Donghyuck's face flushed a little, "I want to see my grandparents first."

"Fine. Fine. I wouldn't force anything from you, you know that," Mark chuckled a little as he spoke sweetly while Donghyuck nodded.

"I know, that's why you're the best," Donghyuck said with a goofy smile.

Mark scoffed playfully, "Just a few moments ago, you were trying to trade me for Jeno."

Donghyuck played with Mark's hand that was on his knee with a smile.

"You wouldn't let that happen," he confidently said, turning his head to look at Mark driving.

Mark hummed, "You're right."

Donghyuck quickly leaned over the arm rest to place a peck on Mark's cheek before sitting back regularly.

Mark did not even attempt to hide the smile that very so evidently appeared on his face, his prominent cheek bones high and promising with love.

It all seemed too surreal and if people knew them or saw them, they would not have a single clue that they were apart of one of the most dangerous mafia gangs in the country.

Mark pulled into the driveway of the small house. He got out quickly to opened Donghyuck's passenger door to which the younger blushed with a thank you.

"I'll be right back," Donghyuck told him as Mark gave a sweet smile and nodded.

"Take your time, angel," he responded.

And that was all it took for Donghyuck to skip along to the front porch and unlock the door, pushing it open as he kicked off his shoes.

"Grandma! Grandpa! I'm here today!" Donghyuck cheered as he ran inside the living.

He wore the happiest smile on his face, being able to finally see his grandparents.

But his smile instantly faltered at the sight...what he saw.

Donghyuck froze, his heart dropping down to his stomach as his breathing became heavy and uneven.

Donghyuck shook his head vigorously as tears spilled from his eyes, "n-no." He choked out.

The monitors that they were hooked on to, were pulled out which stopped the oxygen from flowing into their lungs anymore.

Donghyuck ran outside to Mark, his soulmate.

Mark had already been approaching the house because he felt Donghyuck's emotions overwhelm him.

In just his socks, Donghyuck was on the pavement of the porch where Mark stood.
