(3rd Person POV)

It had been almost an entire month of Mania living with Yusuke. And while both were adamant against admitting it, the other's company was certainly an improvement on their daily life.

It took some time for Mania to grow used to demon cuisines, but now she can eat them with no issue. Her skills from training have shown significant improvement, and she's found new ways to summon spirits without obvious signs of blood.

Yusuke found caring for Mania to be rather easy. She often never made a 100% serious fuss, and enjoyed the rigorous training Yusuke put her through. And when Yusuke was having a... moment of vulnerability, Mania knew well enough to let him be alone during those times.

In short, both individuals grew used to each other's company, to the point of even being considered to have a familial bond. However, both are firm on keeping the master/apprentice relationship as that. Family is not an easy topic towards either of them.

When Mania woke up one morning, she noticed Yusuke sitting on a chair nearby. He was rubbing his knuckles as Garfield slept peacefully in his lap. Mania rubbed her eyes with a groan as she forced herself to sit up,

"Mornin Yu..." she mumbled. Yusuke looked at Mania and smiled slightly,

"Ah, good morning."

"Is somethin up? You're uh..." Mania gestured to Yusuke's knuckle rubbing. Yusuke noticed the habit and stopped it,

"Yes well, I have some news for you."

"What is it?" Yusuke sighed, rubbing the back of his neck in response to Mania's question,

"You see, there are certain factors and skills that I cannot possibly teach you. Therefore, I have enrolled you in Babyls Academy, so you can become much stronger than before." Yusuke lowered his head, expecting a shocked or even angry reaction,

"Mkay, sounds good Yu." Mania replied with a calm shrug. Yusuke stared at Mania puzzled,

"You're... alright with that?" He questioned. Mania nodded in reply, getting off of the bed,

"Do I have to prepare now?" She asked bored,

"No no, the academy will officially open up tomorrow. The headmaster, however, has sent your uniform." Yusuke stood up, startling Garfield awake. Mania tilted her head as Yusuke grabbed a small parcel that was on the floor,

"I told him your preferences regarding design. However if these aren't to your liking, the headmaster is aware of my status as your guardian, and my status among demon kind. Therefore he's willing to let a different outfit slide for you." He explained. Yusuke handed the parcel to Mania as she curiously opened it. Her curious eyes turned to dull annoyance,

"...it's white and pink."

"So you don't like it." Yusuke concluded,

"Yeah this really isn't my cup of tea." Mania grumbled, closing the parcel,

"Then I will help you find a suitable uniform for you, Mania." Yusuke replied, putting the parcel aside. Mania nodded in agreement as she pet the salty Garfield.

~~The next day~~

The first day of Babyls Academy. Yusuke used a bit of magic to disguise Mania so she would only be seen as another demon. Since Mania rejected the uniform, she and Yusuke formatted an appropriate uniform for Mania to wear.
