Dem-Dol, Saiyuki?

(3rd Person POV)

"Heh..." Mania walked into Babyls with a smile, staring at the school's most recent newspaper. After she received the Tricky award from Kalego, the Newspaper and Broadcast Battlers wanted her picture and story to add to the paper. She complied, and managed to make the front page. She entered the misfit class where everyone else turned to her happily,

"Mania! Check it! Front page!" Leon exclaimed excitedly, holding up his own paper,

"I know I know." Mania giggled, placing her paper aside as she sat with the group,

"Hell, you even managed to beat the Cherry Snow Stars for top story." Kazuichi mentioned, pointing to the picture just under Mania's. The picture was of what seemed to be a pop idol group,

"Cherry Snow Stars?" Mania tilted her head,

"You're telling me you never heard of them??" Leon asked shocked,

"Leon. Look me in the eyes and tell me you think I'd be interested in pop idol crap." Mania stared blankly at Leon, intimidating him into silence,

"The Cherry Snow Stars are a Dem-Dol group that's really popular with the demon populous." Miu explained with a shrug, "They're cute, but they ain't as hot as this gorgeous bod!" She flaunted with a grin, earning a kiss from Ibuki. Mania tilted her head,

"Dem-Dol?"

"Demonic therapy dolls, basically." Mondo shrugged, "Basically a sorta stress relief for demons when they're on their evil cycle."

"Ah, alright then." Mania smiled and leaned against Mondo, earning a headpat from him, "So they're just famous idols that everyone loves?"

"Basically, but there's a bit more." Leon shrugged before grinning, pointing to the dem-dol in the middle. The idol had white hair and blue eyes, with a complimentary snowy outfit to fit the theme,

"They're totally cute!! The leader, Saiyuki, is my personal favorite. I have a ton of merch!" He grinned awestruck. Mania rolled her eyes,

"Sounds fun."

"Though..." Leon continued, "She pales in comparison to the girl I really have my eyes on." He grinned before taking out his phone, showing Mania a picture of a classmate with blue hair and eyes,

"Sayaka Maizono! She's super cute and a really sweet demon!"

"I guess I'm just not meant to question why you have a picture of her as your background." Mania glared at Leon skeptically. Leon sheepishly put his phone away,

"Off-Key Charmer," Gundham said, "if you fancy this she-demon so much, why have you not taken steps to profess your feelings?"

"I've tried." Leon sulked, "To no avail."

"Sucks to suck." Mania taunted with a chuckle. Leon tried to smack her but Mondo stopped him before he could. The group just continued to torment Leon until Kalego arrived.

"Geez..." one demon walked down the halls, staring at the newspaper. She stared enviously at Mania on the front page,

"She really is something..." she muttered, "Doing all that. I can't be mad, she did so well... but..." her grip tightened on the newspaper as Sayaka huffed stubbornly,

"Why am I so jealous you took the top story spot from us, Mania??"

Sayaka sighed and shook her head, tossing the newspaper in the trash. Her jealousy was short lived. It had to be. After all, the Cherry Snow Stars would certainly be the next top story once their performance goes live later that day. Sayaka sighed and continued walking down the hall when,
