POURING A GLASS of water from the jar from her fridge behind her.

Marlo sighs softly feeling lonely and missing her boyfriend and even Peter at this point.

She misses his constant whining, she stands up from leaning over the bench and looks at her phone as it dings with a text message from her friend regarding how she knows where Derek is and needs her help as Deucalion paid for her to find him.

Marlo looks at her birth father's name is pure confusion and astonishment, because why would he care about her boyfriend, she messages her friend back and says of course she's in.

It's her boyfriend, the friend calls her and tells her she'll be at hers and Derek's loft in about thirty minutes and to be ready as it's kind a long drive to the destination.

Marlo accepts and farewells her friend on the phone and quickly grabs the glass from the bench and goes to shower and does her morning routine.

She happily sighs as she gets to see Derek again but also drops her smile afterwards thinking the worst scenarios in her head.

While she washes the hair products out of her hair and gets out of the shower wrapping a towel around her in the process.

She changes into her clothes and looks at the clock beside the bed seeing it's been twenty-five minutes and her friend will be here soon.

She quickly does the easiest and simple make up—mascara and a little bit of dry shampoo to perk up her curly ends, she hears a horn downstairs and locks the loft's door and strides towards the car.

"Hey girl" Marlo says happily getting into the passenger seat, "Mar" Braeden nods as a hello and smiles.

They soon begin the journey towards Derek's destination unbeknownst to the hunters torturing the man as we speak.

IN MEXICO, DEREK and Peter are being questioned while the electricity buzzed through their bodies.

"You see this equipment? Very old, the settings are not quite accurate anymore; so, it's hard to tell just how far to turn the dial" Severo one of the calavera hunters explains.

He moves the dial up more and more hearing the men grunt behind him.

"I think it's a little high" Peter says as the pain becomes a lot more agonising and he screams out not understanding how Derek is staying strong beside him.
