Toronto is a very diverse and friendly city, welcoming all sorts of travellers and immigrants to their city. It is known for its internationality and multicultural climate and nature.

Landing on such an international city, the first thing to do is to try their famous drinks and glazed donuts called the Timbits at Tim Hortons. Tim Hortons is a Canadian-owned restaurant and has been a long-standing company since the 1960s. They are known for their cheap coffees and very good but cheap donuts. So remember to go visit Tim Hortons when you have time!

However, it is important to note how you should never go wonder around Toronto downtown late at night, unless you want to get mugged or murdered. It may sound scary but it is not impossible, though unlikely, so it is better to be safe than sorry. It is because apparently crime rates are usually higher at night, and it is not exclusive to international cities like Toronto. There had been fake bomb attacks from time to time on the news during our one-month stay in Toronto.

Toronto is a place with many cafes that give people laidback and cool vibes, so be sure to check them out. Places like Fika Cafes, Nextdoor restaurant are places to go when you want to seek for comfy and chilled vibes in the area. There are also many good ice-cream shops around Toronto such as the Cauldron and iHalo Krunch are also nice stores to visit when you want good quality ice cream in the area. Chipotle is also a very famous Mexican restaurant in the area and is recommended by many Canadians, but I personally do not find it really to my taste (probably because of its spicy nature, haha!).

Certainly, you should not miss the opportunity to visit a good old Outlet mall in Toronto. Toronto  has many outlet malls and they are famed to have quite cheap branded items. Kate Spade, Micheal Kors, Timmy Hilfiger, etc, they do have a number of famous brands that sell largely discounted items. So be sure to check them out as well!

Distillery District is what people called a must-go when you visit Toronto. Distillery District, known for its vintage architectural design yet youthful and unique stores, is a must go for youngsters alike to explore and discover. It is a hub mixed with art, cultural and entertainment destinations. You may stumble upon cute boutiques and vintage restaurants in the area, or maybe even fashionable cosmetic shops and artsy graffitis and decorations. It was deemed as one of the historic Canadian sites in 1988 and is best known for its Victorian-era architectural design in North America. It also has a unique vibe when you go there at Christmas! So be sure to check it out!

Certainly, how can we forget Niagara Falls? Niagara Falls is probably deemed to be the most famous site in Toronto and is majestically beautiful in sight of its nature. It lies between the border of Ontario of Canada and the border of USA. It has a lot of entertaining attractions nearby, as well as interactive exhibits. I once went to a haunted house with my friend there and were totally freaked out by a "ghost". "AH!!!!" We screamed in unison and ran like little kids away from the haunted house only to find out that our little fainted hearts would not be able to withstand such horrific nature of this haunted house. "It's the first time I heard you scream," I said to my friend.

"Me too, I think it's the first time I heard yours too," she added.

"Maybe we should go," I said.

"Yea, we haven't even paid yet, and then we were already running away from it like frantic little kids who've seen clowns. Let's not humiliate ourselves," I told her and joked.

"Yea, and probably the staff was kinda shocked to see for the first time how he scared us even before the customers got into the haunted house," she joked.

"Hahahaha, you're right. We're such cowards," I said to her.

Anyways, Niagara Falls is a must-go attraction if you want to witness the majestic nature of  waterfalls. See for yourself and you will know how amazing it is! You can even go for a boat adventure to see the falls up close!

However, it is important to note that Toronto is also quite cold when it is winter time. So be sure to pack all the thick coats you possibly can buy and bring to this country, if you do not want to freeze to death. You will thank me later.
