Today was the day you were going to find out the gender of your baby and you couldn't be more excited.
You entered the hospital, sitting in the waiting room as you waited for Harry to arrive. He had been at the studio with the boys this morning and had said he would meet you at the hospital.
"Y/N." You heard as you looked up to see Harry smiling at you before sitting down next to you.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" He asked, taking your hand in his.
"I'm alright, a bit nervous, but more excited." You admitted.
"Me too, I'm so excited. Why are you nervous baby?"
"I don't know, I just feel like this is such a big deal and today is the day we finally find out, it's just so surreal and incredible." You explained and Harry nodded understandingly, kissing your cheek.
"I understand, it's crazy to think were having a little one." He said, laughing slightly.
"Miss Y/N Styles?" A young woman called, smiling at you as you and Harry stood up, approaching the lady as you entered the room for a scan.
"How are you both today?" She asked with a smile.
"Were good thank you." Harry answered and you nodded.
"That's great to hear!" She exclaimed, getting things ready.
"Okay so first I'm going to check the baby's health and make sure it's all okay, but if you want to know the baby's gender I can tell you that today too." She explained as she placed the scanning equipment on your stomach, scanning the baby as you could see it's head and body on the screen in front of you.
It was so surreal to think that there was a baby in there and today you would find out if it was a boy or a girl and it was such an overwhelming feeling.
"So your baby is absolutely fine and looks to be in good health and it seems to be developing just as we expected." She said, happily and you smiled, glad your baby was okay.
"Can you tell us if it's a boy or a girl?" You asked as Harry took your hand in his, intertwining your fingers together and squeezing your hand gently.
"Of course I can," she said, moving the scan around before she smiled.
"Mr and Mrs Styles, you are having a little boy." She said and you both smiled at each other.
After the scan was over and you and Harry could go home, you got in your car and Harry squealed excitedly.
"Were having a little boy! We need to get a book and look at names for boys and pick a few that we like and then when he's born we can see which suits him best." Harry planned, excited.
"Alright Harry, let's not get ahead of ourselves. We need to take our time looking through baby names." You laughed.
"I know, I'm just so glad I'm going to have a son and I'm so happy it's with you because I love you and I already know that I love him too." He explained, leaning over the car to kiss you.
"I'm happy too, I love you." You smiled.
You were having a baby boy and you were so excited, happy to know the gender of your baby.
