"Y/N, wake up." Harry's gentle voice cooed in your ear, beckoning you to wake up.

"Baby?"

"Hmm?"

"I can tell your awake." He giggled as you opened your eyes, seeing him hovering over you, his dimple popped out as he grinned at you.

"I made you breakfast." He told you, but all you could focus on was the pain that was revealed to you now that you were awake.

"My ribs hurt." You admitted, not being able to deny his help anymore as the pain seared through your body sharply.

The last few days hadn't been easy; Harry started snapping at you, taking things out on you and being sharp with you on everything he spoke to you about.

You'd ask him what he wanted for dinner and he would reply with, "I don't know." In a tone that told you to leave him alone.

He'd told you he didn't want to fix things between the two of you before you had left and you believed this might be the end of your relationship.

You found a building that was empty and you climbed the stairs to sit at the top, crying for around an hour straight, your body numb at the thought of loosing the man who had made you happy for the past few years.

Just as you were about to leave, you remember screaming as you lost your footing, tumbling down the stairs as you felt sharp pains in your body before you blacked out.

"Y/N?" Harry asked, snapping you from your reminiscing.

You hadn't even noticed that he was now stood above you, a bottle of water and your medication in hand.

"Are you alright?" He questioned, noticing your discomfort and brushing the hair from your face gently.

"F-fine." You replied, sitting up slowly as your ribs felt as though they were crashing into the other, unstably.

You shrieked in pain as Harry quickly steadied you, gently helping you up and handing you your medication and the bottle of water.

"Shh, your okay. I've got you." He whispered gently, his voice filled with panic despite the softness of his words.

"Take your medication, it'll help take the pain off." He added, stroking the hair from your face as it fell onto your forehead.

You did as he said, relaxing into your pillow as your ribs stopped aching momentarily, only to throb again moments later.

"Do you want me to bring your breakfast to you, baby?" He asked quietly, understanding your pain was not going to go away instantly.

"I'm not really hungry, I just want to sleep." You replied, not having the energy neither the want to talk to Harry right now.

"Y/N you have to eat, you need to keep your strength up." He argued.

"Well if I'm hungry, I'll get it myself, okay?"

"Why won't you let me help you?" He asked, with a sigh.

"I don't need your pity Harry and as soon as I'm better, I'm getting out of here." You told him, knowing you wouldn't be able to leave now as you genuinely didn't have the strength to do so.

You felt as though this kindness he was showing you was somehow pity. He showed no interest in being kind to you before the accident and now he was full of guilt and gentleness.

"I'm sorry, what did you just say?" He asked in disbelief, his green eyes widening.

"You know what I said." You retorted, sitting yourself up further.
