Opening your eyes, you looked up at Harry, who was sat up on his laptop in bed.

You had gone to bed together an hour ago and you couldn't sleep, not without Harry cuddled up next to you and your not sure how you managed to sleep away from him when you were annoyed with each other over the past month, which just proved to you that things had gotten more difficult between the two of you.

"I thought you were going to bed an hour ago? You said you wouldn't be long on your laptop." You spoke up from beside him.

He looked down at you almost immediately as soon as he heard your voice and smiled softly.

"Hey, I thought you were going to sleep an hour ago too." He retorted, raising an eyebrow.

"I couldn't sleep," you replied and he frowned.

"Aw, why not? Is something on your mind?" He enquired, concerned.

"Not really, I just couldn't sleep, but I do a lot of thinking." You said, with a small laugh.

"I know you do, I find it hard to try and guess what your thinking most of the time. That mind of yours works overtime." He chuckled, reaching his hand out to run through your hair, while his other scrolled on his laptop.

"I know," you commented, finding Harry's touch relaxing as you closed your eyes momentarily, still not settled because he wasn't laying down next to you with his arms around you.

"What are you doing?" You asked, looking up at him as he continued to stare at the screen.

"Nothing, I'm just looking through Instagram." he replied, sincerely.

"If it was nothing, you would've been asleep." You countered and he looked back at you.

"Okay, spill." He said and you furrowed your eyebrows, confused.

"About what?"

"There's obviously something on your mind if you want me to go to bed so badly." He said.

"Not necessarily, I just wanted us to go to bed together because if I go to sleep, you might go to sleep on the end of the bed and not next to me." You explained, wanting your affectionate boy back.

You noticed a glimmer of hope in his eyes before his eyebrows furrowed, confused.

"You want to cuddle?" He asked, hopeful.

"Why are you so surprised? We always used to cuddle." You asked, with a sigh.

"Well, it's just, you usually push me away." He sighed, his thumb rubbing over your forehead as he looked at you.

You felt a pang of guilt in your chest, feeling as though you may have been neglecting him for the past month.

"Do you feel like I've been neglecting you?" You questioned, asking the same question that was on your mind.

His eyebrows stayed furrowed for a moment as he stayed quiet, before his expression softened.

"Maybe not neglecting, but I did feel a bit like you didn't want me anymore." He admitted, quietly.

"Is that why you weren't acting jealous in the restaurant earlier?" You whispered.

"No, I trust you. I really do. But I don't feel angry or jealous anymore...I felt so insecure that you would leave me, but then I realised that the only reason you were being distant was because of me and my behaviour." He explained, shutting his laptop down and placing it onto the side table next to his side of the bed.

"I know that you didn't want to cuddle me when all I was doing was angrily accusing you of something you wouldn't do." He added, laying down beside you.
