It was now Harry's birthday, just a week after your argument and you hadn't spoken much.
You just wanted to prove to him that he was wrong. You hadn't cheated and you wanted him to know that, but seeing as though neither of you had talked much lately, you knew getting him to go to the party would be difficult.
This morning, you had given him his present and a card and he had simply opened them without much enthusiasm.
The party was in an hours time and you had spent all afternoon helping to get it set up. Harry had gone out with the boys so it gave you plenty of time to help to set up his surprise party.
"Harry do you want to go out somewhere? I have somewhere in mind." You asked him as he picked up the phone.
"No thanks, I'm going out with the boys." He said.
"Harry go, you've been with us all day." You heard Liam say.
"It's okay Harry, see you later." You said, hanging up the phone.
You felt tears welling up in your eyes. You hadn't said anything all week and it had hurt you so much. The boys knew about it and had tried to convince him that you wouldn't cheat on him, without giving the surprise away.
Liam had asked you three times if you wanted to tell him about the party due to your argument, but you stayed to your word of waiting until his birthday.
Your phone buzzed as you had received a text message.
"Hey Y/N, were bringing Harry to the party, we've managed to convince him to go out somewhere with us, he just doesn't know where. See you soon x" the message read, which was from Liam.
You sighed, wiping your eyes and heading out of the door and towards the party. Once you were there, you made sure everything was set up and that all of the guests who were invited were there.
"Are you okay? I thought you'd be happier seeing as though you organised this." Sophia said with a smile.
Tears sprung to your eyes again at the thought of your argument.
"Hey, what's wrong? Is this about the argument?" She asked, gently taking your hand and leading you slightly away from the guests.
"I don't know if he will even want me here, we haven't spoken much in the past week, only to ask what the other wanted for dinner and I tried to explain that I hadn't done anything the next day but he wouldn't talk to me." You explained, blinking back the tears in an attempt not to cry.
"Oh Y/N, I'm sure he would want you here, especially once he realises that this is what you had organised." She reassured you.
"Surprise!" You heard and you turned around to see Harry already here with the boys as everyone cheered and greeted him.
After that, everyone headed to the kitchen for some food as Harry was left with the boys as you and Sophia stood at a close distance.
"Did you do all of this?" You heard him ask and a tear fell from your eye and Sophia gently pulled you into a hug.
"No, Y/N did. This is what she was organising and we helped her, but she did most of it." Liam explained as the people remaining stood near Harry turned to look at you.
"Really? Then where is she?" He asked.
"She's right here and I can't believe you ever thought she would do anything to hurt you," Sophia exclaimed.
"Sophia," you said quietly, wanting her to stop.
"No, you don't deserve this. I know it's your birthday, but couldn't you try listening to your girlfriend instead of ignoring her for a week? It's been really hard for not just her, but for us to try and keep it a surprise when all we wanted to do was tell you so that you could stop making Y/N feel upset." Sophia said as Harry looked at her shocked.
