You got up ready to go and have breakfast out with Harry, getting dressed and getting ready by brushing through your hair and leaving it down before applying minimal makeup which included eyeshadow and mascara.

Usually you didn't wear a lot of makeup, but you did wear some whenever you went out, although usually you wore foundation as well, but you decided to skip it today.

You could get spots just like a lot of people could, although you preferred to cover them up whenever they occurred, however, you didn't have any at the minute, so you decided to just wear some eye makeup.

"I'm ready." You informed Harry who was waiting downstairs.

"Oh, that's good, come on then." He laughed as you walked up to him.

"You look a little different, but I can't work out what it is." Harry said, cocking his head to the side in confusion.

"Oh, well I haven't got foundation on today?" You said, questioningly, not knowing what he could mean by that.

"Oh yeah, that's it," he laughed, taking your hand and leading you outside where you both began your walk to a local cafe.

"Is it noticeable?" You asked, feeling self-conscious.

You had always been insecure from being a teenager and even though Harry had made you a more confident person, you couldn't help but be insecure sometimes.

"Not too much, but I can tell." He said, not realising the effect of his words.

"How? I don't wear that much." You argued.

"Does it matter? Were only going out for breakfast." He said, confused.

"Because if it looks bad, I can go back and put some foundation on."

"There's no point now, where almost here." He said, giving you a smile.

"So it does look bad?" You asked, biting your lip to hold back the tears.

"No, of course it doesn't. You look beautiful, I just could tell that's all. Your face is slightly red, but it makes you look cute." He grinned.

By slightly red, he meant slightly blotchy, which was one of the things you disliked the most about your skin.

"Y/N, don't worry, no one else will notice and besides, you don't look any less beautiful to me." He told you, squeezing your hand reassuringly while you held his loosely.

He walked you into the cafe as you both ordered your food and you tried not to look around too much, conscious of your skin and what Harry had said. Even though he had said some nice words afterwards, it still hurt to know he noticed.

He spoke to you through breakfast about the boys, the studio, the fans and how much he loves singing and even though you loved hearing these things, you only answered with short replies as you were focused on getting back home.

"Are you okay?" He asked, concerned and you smiled.

"Yeah I'm okay, why?" You replied.

"You seem a little distant, does it have anything to do with what I said before?"

"Why is it really noticeable?" You asked, quickly.

"Is what really noticeable?" His eyebrows knitted together in confusion.

"The redness on my face, you said you could tell before," you said, quietly.

"No I didn't mean it was noticeable in a bad way, I just meant you looked cute because usually your cheeks aren't red because you cover it up with makeup you don't need." He explained.
