You asked, as you placed your phone on your kitchen counter, leaning it against a bottle.

'Nah not really, I've been awake. Just I haven't convinced myself to get out of bed yet.'
He placed a hand behind his head.

You opened your top cupboard, and reached for a snack
'Or really? You didn't have training this morning?'

'Only this evening I have. Thank fuck I can sleep in.'

You grabbed a packet of Oreos
'I could never genuinely.'

'You get used to it I swear. I honestly prefer it in the morning.'

'What? How?'
You opened the packet of Oreos and placed one in your mouth

'Like, you feel more energetic for the day you know?'

'Mhm mhm.'
You nodded, covering your mouth as you chewed.

He paused for a second, before saying
'You're gorgeous, you know that?'

You turned away, coving your face
'Stoppp, you say this stuff so suddenly.'

'But it's true'

'Thanks, you too are extremely gorgeous.' 

'We are both gorgeous.'

'Yeah, I guess we are.'

'Hey, one day you want I fly you over and you watch me play?'

You faced your phone again.
'Wait what? You would do that?'

'Fuck yeah?'

'Wha- that- I can't accept that. I'll pay I swear.'

He whined, and you gave in.

'If you're genuinely ok with this, then I'd love too.'
