"Nerf this!" I repeat, rushing to the point to help my teammates.
My poor, poor teammates. They were probably so annoyed, listening to me repeat what every character said right after they said it.
Echolalia is when someone repeats what someone else said, either immediately afterwards, or a bit later. It mostly shows up in Autistic people, but non-autistics can have it too.
I use it as a stim, though there are reasons for it, like communication.
Sometimes it gets annoying for me, as well. Sometimes when I'm reading around other people (people I don't mask around, like my mom) I read a word, and then I immediately say out loud, "mom, you're a ___", unless it's offensive. Then I try keeping it in. And I succeed at that, don't worry.
I was playing Overwatch yesterday, and I was making Ana that day. She said something in Arabic, and I was like "I really wanna say that, but I don't speak Arabic". It was sad for me.
Also I'm in love with saying Tracers lines! Her British accent is everything to me oh my gosh!
