Chapter 50: First Night, Full Of Romance

After the registry marriage was done, finally Sidharth and Naaz came home with others.

At home Rita Maa was waiting with 'Aarti ki thali'.

As soon as they arrived at the door, Rita Maa did their 'Aarti'.

Then Preeti put the pot full of rice on the floor and Rita Maa asked Naaz to kick it.

Naaz lifted her lehenga a little and slowly kicked the rice filled pot.

After that ritual was done, they brought a plate full of 'Alta'(red liquid) and asked Naaz to dip her feet in it.

Naaz was thinking how she would be able to stand on it when Sidharth forwarded his hand for support.

Naaz smiled and hold his hand. Then she slowly dipped her both feet in the Alta. Everyone smiled seeing it.

"Jaise abhi tune usko support diya hai, aise hi humesha ek dusre ko support dete rehna." Said Rita Maa.

Both Sidharth and Naaz smiled.

Then she started walking and the floor looked more beautiful with her footprints.

"Maa, Naaz ke pairon ka chaap dekhiye. Aisa lag raha hai Laxmi Mata khud chal kar humare ghar aayi hai." Whispered Neetu.

"Meri Bahu hai hi Laxmi. Jab se woh humari zindagi mein aayi hai sirf khushiyan hi di hai usne. Bas Bhagwan se yeh hi dua hai aage ki zindagi bhi aise hi guzar jaaye." Said Rita Maa.

Soon the newly wedded couple played some games arranged by some of the family members. Naaz won all the games as our Shukla Ji was busy staring at his wife rather than playing games.

After every ritual was done, Naaz finally got a chance to go to her room.

But when Sidharth was going to enter his room, Neetu and Preeti blocked his way.

"Kya hua? Phir se koi rasam hai kya? Listen main bohut thak chuka hoon. Baki ke rasam kaal kar lena, abhi mujhe andar jaane do." Said Sidharth and tried to enter his room but Neetu and Preeti pushed him slightly.

"Itni zaldi kya hai? Pehle humein 25,000 rupaye de de. Phir chale jaana andar. Koi nahi rokega tujhe." Said Neetu smiling.

"Are you serious? Mujhe apne hi room mein jaane ke liye aap logo ko paise dene honge?" Asked Sidharth with disbelief.

"Woh toh tujhe dene hi honge. Warna iss room mein teri entry banned ho jayegi." Said Preeti.

Sidharth got irritated.

"Yaar Jiju aap log apni apni biwiyon ke haath mein paise nahi dete ho kya jo woh log mujhse itna huge amount maang rahi hai? Kuch bolo na inhe." He said looking at Ritesh and Arun who were standing there.

"Bhai Behen ke bich ka mamla hai. Hum kaise kuch keh sakte hai?" Said Ritesh and Arun.

"Yaar sirf 25,000 hi maange hai. Fatafat de de aur jaa andar." Said Neetu.

"15,000 dunga." Said Sidharth.

"Nahi chalega." Said Preeti.

"Ok na aap ki, naa meri. 20,000 final."

"25,000 se ek rupiya kam nahi."

Sidharth was going to say something, when Naaz said, "De di jiye na please. Akhir woh paise humari family mein hi rahenge."

Now Sidharth couldn't deny.

"Main aap dono ke accounts mein 12,500 kar ke bhej deta hoon." He said taking out his phone.

"Biwi boli aur jhat se maan gaya?" Asked Neetu with wide eyes.

"Tu toh abhi se joru ka ghulam ban gaya hai. Not bad!" Said Preeti teasing him to which Sidharth rolled his eyes.
