The Past and The present

Lucas POV
"~mm la la la~" as a sweet voice interrupted  my comfortable nap "someone is in good mood" I said as she stopped humming and answered me with a bright smile "yes of course the emperor is showing steady progress and everything is going well and...". "And what" i asked her "That's it" " Are you sure?" " Yes" "I see" i said " oh yes how could I forgot about a certain magician who expressed his love for me" she said " Yes yes your good mood is especially because of the love I am showe-" " It is not you though" "what?"  "It was a young magician from your tower who proposed to me he expressed his love for me beautifully and it really was sincere " 'which bastard dares to touch my-' as my thoughts were disrupted "But I turned him down saying I already am in love with a cranky magician and I can't leave him alone " "And who might this magician be?" "The one who is lying on my lap and asking stupid questions " She said pouting as I smirked at her answer "Ria " "um" she answered as she was busy playing with my hair "When are you coming by palace next" "Probably next week , why will you miss me~"  " Of course who will not miss their lover" "Aww but I am only allowed to visit the palace once a week and my mother is strict about it " "Should I break in the fairy forest"  "Have you gone insane ? Don't even joke about it " "Ok fine I won't so calm down" " Promise me" "Yes yes , you are an adult now you can take your own decisions why are there so many restrictions for you" "it's not that they want to restrict me but they have no other option because their daughter happens to be a Half fairy" "Just because you are a half fairy? Why do they think you are weak and can't protect yourself " "No it's the opposite " "What?" "Lucas How much do you know about half fairies" "Umm to be honest there is not much information about fairies in the records they have been secretive from the beginning only some knew about their existence and the only information about half fairies in that is that  they are very rare" "As you said Half fairies are very rare mostly born from interspecies union but most inter species couple will have either of their race for example for human and fairy their children will either be a human or a fairy , but sometimes very rarely  half fairies are born most of them were related to the royal fairies being a half fairy they were very weak it looked as if they won't survive long knowing this the royal at the time begged god to help her child so the god promised to help the child and gave some their powers to the child and soon after that half fairies gained unique powers and inherited the golden eyes , which shows that we are protected by god " "If so then no one can harm you then why are they so protective of you then" "As i said it's the opposite it is because I have these gifted power's I am also great threat , If my my power's go rampant it may bring upon a disaster that's why it is both a blessing and curse and most of half fairies couldn't control their power or went rampant and became one with the spirits " "Spirits" "Something like death , when a fairy dies they become one with earth or like half fairies become spirits most of the half fairies die young being not able to control their power so that's why they are so protective of me" "Ria whether you are a blessing or curse or half fairy I don't care to me you are you a very important and special person " I said as i reached out to wipe her tears "What did you do to make her cry?" "Why are you here?" "Of course to meet my fairy godmother , why are you crying godmother if you cry i also will cry " he said as he hugged ria "That's right when I have you both with me I don't care about what other's say I am the happiest person " she said with her bright smile as she hugged both of us 
 As I slowly opened my eyes to the sound of rain pouring down I was pulled back to the reality without her. "The weather is  also not looking good today " .
 General POV
"Miss Beckworth do you know where the princess is" asked richard "Sorry your highness but i don't know she is out for personal reasons I guess" answered Lzy "But how come the princess go alone outside with out guard " asked richard "She often goes around the palace grounds alone and tells us not to disturb her so.." "but it is pouring outside" "---" "Ok but please inform me when she is back" "Yes your highness" 
As he was walking in the corridor he saw a familiar figure walking towards the garden and he started following her
 
A man in black robes stood with flowers in his hand in front of a memorial "That brat built you a decent memorial I will give that to him" he said as he placed the flower down and kneeled " I am still keeping my promise to you even though I don't know why , I don't know why I come here on this day with the hopes of at least seeing your spirit only to get disappointed Ria..." as suddenly an umbrella kept him from rain "Princess what are you doing here" "Doing what she would have done, Take this I will wait for you there at the garden gate" she said as she gave him the umbrella.

After some time 

"Are you done? "asked the princess "Yes" he said "Ok then let's go back" "Why do you always come to find me here every year" "It's because I can't leave you alone, Like how you help me and stand by me I also would like to do the same " "-----" "Lucas you are not alone , I will always be there for you " she said as she hugged him "Thank you aria" he said as he hugged back .  
 At the tower
"Lucas sit down I will pour you some hot tea" said the princess  "Why are you doing these things when this is my room" asked lucas "Because I make better tea than you, Here" "You also sit down there is something I would like to ask you " "Me? What is it" "By any chance do you also have the ability to foresee the future?" "*Silence*" "Answer me" "What if I said yes" "Then don't meddle in it , don't involve yourself with it " "I can't sit still when in the future my loved ones are in trouble and I am able to see the future for a reason" "And what might it be" "Nothing of your concern" "Let me guess it is related to your deal "  "I can't say anything , Think whatever you want" "Aria whoever changes the future has to pay the price for the same" "I know" "If you know then don't meddle too much " "Lucas please try to understand I have to meddle in" "I don't want to I have already lost one due to my carelessness not again "  "Lucas that was not because of you and this  also , So please this has nothing to do with you from the start my life was on line even if I have to give up on my life to change the future I would gladly - "  "Stop don't give up on your life so easily you both are the same selfish, think about the people you leave behind think about your parents sisters friends will they be happy and celebrate your sacrifice No I know how it is to be left behind and I don't think I would be able to  go through it again " "lucas" "Even though I fight with you and tease you but at the end of the day you have become some one important to me so don't you dare plan to sacrifice your life" "Why are you acting like this today?" asked the princess as tears drops fell down her face "Why you don't like it" lucas asked as he wiped away the tears  "Lucas I know I am selfish but I can't promise you i won't meddle but I will try my best not put myself in big trouble ok?" "Ok fine" "Lucas today should be the day I console you not you console me " "How did you plan to console me then" "Like I do every year" she said as she hugged him "Hey I have important question" "What now?" "Do you hug everyone like this in the academy?" "No way It's just close friends" "What about him" "Who richard?" "Yes yes him" "I think I hugged him once" "What?" "Why are you asking ?" "To teach you something you lack , the basic sense of skinship" "What?" ""Don't worry I will teach you"
