Chapter 22

"I hate you." Nanon was flustered.

"No, you don't," Ohm said playfully.

"I haven't told you that I love you."

"Yeah, you haven't. That's right... you didn't...oh! you don't... love me, Nanon." Ohm became so quiet. Ohm turned his face to the window, although the view of the congested city was nothing compared to the beautiful face of his husband. They had begun their journey with a lot of excitement, but all of a sudden, it disappeared just in a moment.

Nanon didn't mean that. He didn't expect Ohm to be upset by those words. He decided to break the silence, which was breaking both of their hearts.

"If I..." Nanon began softly taking Ohm's hand in his. "If I don't have any feelings for you..." Ohm looked at him, "then why did I let you kiss me? Why did I kiss you back? We did that because we wanted it, both of us."

Ohm's eyes were focused on Nanon as he continued. "I haven't said it. That doesn't mean I will never say it to you."

"Will you love me, Nanon?" Ohm was bewildered.

"I didn't say I don't love you. It's just that I haven't told it to you... because... I want to express my feelings when all my doubts are cleared. It may take a little time. P'Ohm, will you give your Nanon some time for it?

"Of course, baby. Take your time. I have told you, you will take it slow. There is no need to rush my love." Ohm put his hand on Nanon's, "take as much time as we want. I am all yours." Both of them smiled in relief. It might take a while to build their relationship, but they wanted to make it strong and definitely long-lasting.

"Can I kiss you, baby? You said you want me to." Ohm asked expectantly.

"Nooo!" Nanon was surprised how fast could Ohm switch his emotions.

"But baby,
That means you don't love me..." Ohm made a sad puppy face.

"No, Phi, don't behave childishly, naa."

"Then-" Nanon stopped him from speaking further.

"Not now naa, the driver is here. Please understand, P'Ohm." Ohm looked at the driver who was focused on his driving. "When we will be alone -" Ohm swiftly turned to Nanon and pecked his lips in a blink of an eye.

"When we will be alone, I will kiss you till you can't breathe, baby." And thus the saga of Ohm making Nanon bashful continued.

The silence broke when Drake called Ohm to inform them that they had almost reached the end of their city. They should prepare themselves to meet the people who had been waiting for them since the morning.

"I have unloaded all the stuff for the giveaway. I know you love to meet your people, but don't get too close like the time. You're our next king. Your safety is our priority. Don't make it hard for the bodyguards, Ohm." Drake told Ohm just before the giveaway.

"My people can't hurt me, brother. But don't worry, I will follow your orders." Ohm said with a smile.

"Come on, Nanon. I can't wait to introduce you to them. I'm sure you will feel the love and respect they have for you." Ohm held Nanon's hand, almost dragging him towards the crowd.

There was a temporary platform made for OhmNanon to stand, which was surrounded by sturdy bodyguards.

As OhmNanon stepped out of their car, the cheers kept increasing along with the applause. People are very excited to meet their beloved prince and his partner together for the first time. Some of them brought gifts for the newlyweds.

Drake told them to hand over the gifts to guards but a little girl refused to do so. Noticing that Nanon ordered the guards to let her come to them.

As the girl approached them Ohm recognized her instantly.
