Gears switched out of nowhere when the clock struck midnight, or at least time learned to speed up. Not only had Michael ended his last concerts of the "Bad" Tour, but headlines allegedly warned that Jackson would never give shows to the public again.

Meanwhile, Prince had gone from jamming on stage almost every night to damn-near living out a suitcase. Immediately after the Lovesexy Tour stopped for good, he booked another private jet and hustled like crazy overseas.

We once again hid in the dark watching everything play out. "Partyman'' introduced Jack Nicholson's Joker and Prince was fairly happy.

My husband even said that all songs featured were inspired by different characters. Meanwhile, I laughed, geeked out, or partied, just raving. Keaton's "new" version of Batman wasn't bad, either.
