You watch the distant sunset, the sky boasting its magnificent canvas. The color of deep orange and purple was prominent as the sun slowly descended beyond the horizon.

Lately, the sky is painted less red. Just not long ago, it used to reflect the blood from the battlefield. There were even times when you thought the moon also cast back the same color, like a reminder of the fallen comrades and enemies and their blood flooding the ground.

Now, you thought, the sky is starting to show its true tinge. Whether it meant that the Era of Warring States is almost over or something entirely just your supposition, you had no idea.

"Princess, they're here."

You were pulled from your pondering thoughts by the voice of your handmaiden and you looked ahead. You saw the flags bearing the symbol of your Clan being blown by the wind and before long the encampment was filled with wounded and exhausted Clan members.

You looked around for the familiar faces of your brothers but you didn't see even their shadows.

"Excuse me," you asked a man who happened to walk by. "Are you hurt anywhere?"

"No, my lady. I'm fine."

"By chance, have you seen my brothers?"

"Your brothers," he muttered, looking at you until he recognized who you were and his face couldn't hide his flustered expression. "Lord Hashirama and Lord Tobirama are in that tent, Princess!"

You smiled before thanking him. You wanted to check if they were wounded, there seemed to be fewer men who came back compared to last time so you were more worried.

But when you got near the tent, you suddenly heard your eldest brother shout which made you almost flinch and stopped abruptly.

"Tobirama!" he yelled with so much authority in his voice you instinctively froze and held your breath. "No matter how you look at it, you shouldn't have done something like that."

"Like what? It's a battlefield, it's kill or be killed. And I merely chose the former."

"You almost killed his younger brother."

"Because your younger brother was almost killed too."

"What?!" you burst out as you entered the tent when you heard what Tobirama said. "Onii-sama, what did you say? You were almost killed?"

"Y/n!" Hashirama exclaimed but you were looking at Tobirama who was standing next to him.

"I'm fine," Tobirama said, closing his eyes. He may not say it, but he is glad that you were worried about him first before worrying about him almost killing Uchiha Madara's treasured younger brother, unlike Hashirama who was worried about the latter.
