The Uchiha Clan compound was busy first thing in the morning. With all the preparations for the hunting game that will signify the end of winter and the start of spring.
The Uchiha men who will be participating in the game all lined up outside, Uchiha Madara is giving them instructions. As you walk closer, you can hear Madara reminding everyone about the essence of the hunting game until the men noticed you and they quickly inclined their heads in a bow which prompted Madara to stop speaking to look at you.
"Oh, I'm sorry, did I interrupt something important?" you asked, urging the men to straighten up.
"No, I just finished talking to them," Madara said, walking towards you until you felt his hand brushing a strand of your hair away from your face. "And you? What are you doing here? I thought you're not feeling well."
"Oh no, my lord. I feel quite well now."
Although it is true that you weren't feeling well earlier, only because a dream kept waking you up last night only for it to be forgotten once you're awake. It's not that you had willed yourself to get up from bed, you had indeed felt better.
And you couldn't possibly miss this chance to watch the Uchiha Clan's tradition like the hunting game. Besides, what will they say if the Lady of the Uchiha Clan doesn't show up on a seemingly important day like this. The Elders will be there watching as well.
You turned to the men in front, unconsciously brushing your hair behind your ear as you offered them a smile. "Allow me to wish everyone good luck on the hunting game."
The Uchiha men didn't know what to do, it's been way too long since they had a Lady of the Uchiha Clan, and that was Madara's mother who passed away when he was young. So having the current Lady of the Uchiha Clan in front of them wishing them luck on the hunting game was a strange sight that they did not know what to do.
So they just stood there and you started to feel the awkwardness slowly gnawing at you so you gave them one last smile before turning back to Madara.
"Then, I shall be on my way now, my lord."
"No, let us be on our way," Madara said before he looked at the men. "I shall be accompanying my wife to the lodging. I'll join everyone before the game begins."
