You don't understand what was happening. When Tobirama left the meeting, you stopped listening to what the people around you were talking about.

You don't understand why they were asking your handmaiden about the stuff that only you and her were supposed to know. The things that only women are comfortable sharing with other women. Even your handmaiden seemed hesitant to speak at first, but the intimidating look from the Head of the Uchiha Clan made her answer all the questions they were asking.

You, on the other hand, sat there in complete silence. You wished you could just disappear right then and there. You don't want to be in this meeting for a minute longer.

When your older brother, Tobirama left earlier, you wished you could have left with him. You don't want to hear a single thing anymore, you were too embarrassed that your eyes started to sting and your face started to heat up.

"That's enough..." you muttered, voice no more than above a whisper and your head is still lowered down. You can't lift your head, you can't even look anyone in the eye right now. So all you've been doing is keeping your stinging eyes downcast while your hands gripped your kimono. "Please..."

You don't want to hear them discussing and talking about your own body anymore as if you're not even there. You don't know if this kind of discussion is only normal for women who are about to get married, if so, then you probably should not be feeling this way.

But you really can't bear to hear one more word from them. You were about to speak clearly, louder than earlier, you already found the courage to lift your head and were about to speak when Uchiha Madara's voice cut you off before you could even say a word.

"That's enough," he said, looking at his Clan Elders before his eyes found you and you couldn't tear your eyes from him as you found yourself staring back. "That's enough. You can set the date of the marriage any day of the year, it does not matter to me."

Your eyes widened a bit before Madara averted his gaze to look back at the Elders from both Clans. You were a bit surprised to hear him say that, when earlier you can clearly recall how he made that remark. Saying that since you two will be fulfilling your marital obligations, you two might as well fulfill it right away.

But now he's saying it does not matter to him. Nevertheless, you were relieved that his words were heed by the Elders of both Clans as they all stopped talking.

Only for a moment, however, as the Head of the Uchiha Clan Elders spoke.

"We had already agreed on a date," he said and Madara looked at him, urging him to continue. "Upon discussing the information provided to us by the Princess' handmaiden, the date of the wedding will be set on the 7th day of January."
