After three years, the sequel is officially up.
Gods and monsters the offical Ethereal sequel I hope lives up to the name of its predecessor, is about L dealing with immortality as a kami while his family are still mortal, as he has to fight a copycat Kira all over again. Now married and more knowledge, L and his beloved must face death once again but this time, it's not him who will die.
And this time, reader is kept gender ambiguous. Since I've kinda transed my gender since writing this book, and it's definitely opened my eyes to gender in x reader fanfics as a whole. Reader is still AFAB (bc marketing yo, I know most of y'all are AFAB) but gender neutral language and appearance descriptions are used. Gays and they's rejoice!
