Benimaru yawned loudly and slouched in his seat, his eyes droopy. This study session was doing nothing but being such a bore to him. Goro seemed attentive, on the other hand, and was even helping Kyo with his English essay. Seeing nothing else to do besides his homework, Benimaru's eyes wandered around the library. It was mostly deserted, save for his group and the juniors at the table beside theirs. That made his eyes land on a certain red-haired girl.
"Yo, your sister is pretty cute, Yagami," Benimaru couldn't help but remark.
Iori gasped as he looked up at Benimaru, following his gaze and landed right on his sister who sat quietly reading a book. He loudly cleared his throat to gain the teen model's attention.
"What did you say, Beni?" Iori asked.
Benimaru was slightly taken aback by the new nickname. "Did you just call me Beni?" He shrugged. "Okay, then. I was just saying that your sister is kinda cute."
"I know," Iori smirked. "You, on the other hand, look like you just crawled out of a dumpster."
"I'm a model, Yagami, no one cares about your opinion because I'm gorgeous," Benimaru untied his hair and flipped it, causing some of the blond strands to hit Kyo square in the face. He ignored Kyo's growl and pouted his lips in a way that photographers loved.
"You still look like trash in my eyes," Iori scowled. "Being pretty on the outside is useless if you're a horrible person on the inside, Beni."
Kyo sighed. "Knock it off, Ben. I only let you come to help me study. But if this keeps up, I'm not letting you come anymore."
Benimaru frowned and tied his hair up again. His eyes still wandered off to where Aiko sat, though the red-haired girl wasn't even aware of his stare. Kyo gave him a sharp nudge, shaking his head.
"Sit still and don't go breaking heart again," Kyo whispered.
"But I'm a very nice boyfriend," Benimaru reasoned quietly.
Kyo sighed. "I meant your heart. Look, I've had enough of your breakup sob stories, okay? Just focus on your studies."
Benimaru sighed and laid his head down the table out of boredom. In the end, he took his phone out and ended up taking a picture to upload with the caption study sesh with homies.
"Yagami, what's your sister's name?" Benimaru tried again.
Iori frowned. "No."
"No?" Benimaru repeated in surprise. "Now that's a peculiar name." To their dismay, he turned to Aiko and loudly called. "Hey, No! You cute!"
Aiko looked at him in surprise as the librarians came together to give him the big shush. She spotted him winking at her and hid her face behind the book she was reading to block out the view of his smirking face.
"Don't mind him, Aiko, he's always like that," Yuri sighed. "That's how he reacted the first time he saw me too."
Aiko nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Seems like a player."
"He's always got a girlfriend, a different one every time I see him," Yuri continued disappointedly. "Changes girlfriends as quick as changing outfits."
Benimaru heard that and came up, grinning at the redhead. "But you, my love, are like my school uniform. I cannot change you."
"Then what about PE?" Aiko said. "Does that means you'll have a different girlfriend as soon as you change into your sportswear? Or does it mean that I will only be your girlfriend at school and nowhere else?"
Benimaru turned red from embarrassment since he had no clue how to reply to that. Zayn burst into laughter, causing the big shush to occur once more, and ended up snickering quietly instead. Benimaru silently went back to his table and sat down beside Kyo, hanging his head.
"I tried to warn you," Kyo sighed, patting his back. "I know, I know it's embarrassing."
"Why does this always happen to me?" Benimaru whimpered. "All I want is a nice, loyal girlfriend that doesn't suspect me for being a playboy!"
"You need to earn that trust first, Beni," Iori piped up. "Step one, don't go flirting with every girl you see."
Benimaru nodded sadly and laid his head on the table.
"Darn, this heartbreak came faster than I thought," Goro shook his head in surprise. "This just broke the two-days record. How long did this take? Two minutes?"
"Twenty seconds," Benimaru lifted his head to say before slumping back down.
Ryo shook his head at Benimaru's drama while Kay had no clue that something was even happening, more focused on the music blasting in his ears instead.
Iori gave him a glance and nodded to himself. 'I should learn from him too.' He thought.
Benimaru eventually turned to his homework and stopped complaining about the rejection. Iori still had an eye on him though.

Kay spotted Najd once again in the foyer. He still couldn't help but stare at her, seeing how she was a splitting image of his mother. Zayn noticed him staring too and frowned.
"What's up, Dash?" Zayn asked. "You've been staring at her for like five minutes now."
Kay sighed, shaking his head. "I'm not sure, Dash. It's just that, that girl looks just like... like Mom. Of course, she's too young. But she looks exactly like Mom, save for her eye colour."
Zayn frowned for a moment and nodded. "You're right. What if it's one of those reincarnation things?"
"Nah," Kay snorted, shaking his head. "Even if those things do exist, she's still too old for that. She's my age, we were toddlers when she passed, remember?"
"Oh yeah..." Zayn agreed, nodding understandingly. "But who is she, then?"
Kay shrugged and turned his gaze to his phone. But now, Zayn took over his post at staring at the Arabian girl. By this time, she had gotten enough of the two of them and got up, marching up to their table.
"Is there something I can help you with?" Najd asked them directly, her hands on her hips. "You guys have been staring daggers at me for the past ten minutes!"
Zayn had no idea what to say, his eyes popping out of his head as he gave her jazz hands.
Kay sighed and smiled at her. "It's just that, my brother thinks you look like our mother too."
"Oh, so this is your brother," Najd relaxed slightly.
"Yeah... and... I don't remember her at all," Zayn truthfully said. "I was just a baby when she... when she passed away."
"Oh... umm... I'm sorry to hear that," Najd awkwardly said. "I didn't know that... I'm very sorry for your loss."
Zayn smiled sadly. "It's fine. At least I know what she might have to looked like. We only have pictures of her."
Najd nodded and excused herself, returning to her table again.
"That was close," Kay sighed before turning to his brother with a concerned look. "Hey, you okay?"
Zayn nodded. "Yeah. It's just a little painful to remember the fact that I don't remember my times with her."
Kay got up from his seat in front of him and slid directly beside him, wrapping an arm around him to bring him closer. "Come on, don't worry yourself about it," Kay said. "At least we have Dad, right?"
Zayn nodded and leaned against him. "I guess you're right. At least our family managed to reunite even after Igniz's attempts at breaking it apart. Why he wanted to ruin us like that, I still don't know."
"Because he's a psycho," Kay scowled. "Never mind, let's not talk about him now." He thought of a way to change the subject. "Anyway, you done with those books you borrowed?"
"I'm almost done with the one about the Secret Room," Zayn pulled away and dug in his backpack, pulling out a red paperback with a bookmark sticking out of it. "It's really funny, interesting too."
Kay took it from him and read the synopsis. He nodded to himself, considering that he should read it too, and handed it back to his brother. "Looks good, maybe I should borrow it once you're done."
Zayn nodded excitedly. "Sure!"
Seirah came up with Kula and joined them. The four of them went home when Maxima and Krizalid arrived in their Ford Explorer to pick them up.
