The lost triplets

Hi everyone I've been very reluctant to publish this chapter, ive had it written for quite some time. Its quite long but I don't want to drag this bit of the story out. Tissues may be needed.

Marco was the first to wake up and straight away he realised he had been drugged. He then looked around desperately for Skye. She was still unconscious and he practically ran over.

"Skye. Skye. Come on Skye, please wake up. I'm sorry" he tried to shake her carefully awake.

She eventually woke up and he sighed with relief.

He pulled her into a hug without thinking. She didn't hug back but Marco didn't care. She was awake and that's all that mattered.

"What happened" she asked.

"I think we were both shot with tranquilizers. We need to get out of here" he said standing up and helping her up.

They looked around the room and noticed how dark it was. They were in a basement.

Skye realised and suddenly she couldn't breathe. She was having a panic attack.

Marco realised straight away how it was triggering her especially after the visit he and Lorenzo took. Lorenzo thought it was were they tortured enemies but the truth only Marco knew.

Marco was quick to help her with the panic attack and it worked.

"I expected you both to be out of it alot longer"

Kevin

The man who sexually abused them both.

"You are suppose to be in prison" Marco said. He didn't care that he was on the verge of a panic attack himself. All he cared about was Skye's safety.

"I know a few people" he shrugged like it was nothing.

He snapped his fingers and a few men came in, they tried to seperate Marco and Skye but Marco was not going to let her get hurt again and he managed to fight them off.

"I'm not a kid anymore" Marco snapped. He was ready to take down Kevin but his fear had him hesitating and Kevin saw that.

"Sure you are.  You're still the pathetic 8 year old who couldn't save his younger siblings. You're the reason for all the pain they suffered. For everything I did to her" Kevin used his guilt against him and with that he mangaged to push Marco away.

Trigger warning of abuse of all kinds.

Kevin went to hit Skye but Marco tackled him. This caused Kevin to push Marco off and start to kick him until he couldn't move.

He grabbed a whip and went back to Skye , Skye was in tears as she was reliving what she thought she had escaped from.

Marco was coughing up blood but he saw what was about to happen, and as the whip came down he used every strength he had to place himself in front of Skye.

Kevin took his anger out further on the boy.

He suddenly got a call and after a conversation in Spanish, which Marco was able to translate.  It wasn't anything important to them. Only a drug deal.

"I'll be back later"  he said was a viscous grin.

Once gone , Skye who was in tears put aside her fear and tried to help Marco. "Are you okay, of course you're not. Let me help you" she said worrying about his injuries.

"Im fine Skye. As long as you don't get hurt, I'm fine. We need to escape though"

Kevin came back the next day, again he tried to get to Skye but each time Marco fought back and took the hits.
