Apologies it is quite short but I'm getting back into the book. Hope you all enjoy.

The triplets all saw different therapists to make it easier for them to open up and not worry about what the others said.
Both boys saw male therapists. Whilst Skye saw a female.

When they arrived at the therapist office, Rafael like everytime, assured them it would be okay and that everything they say to their therapist wouldn't lead them to being judged.

Rafael waited in the waiting area as his children went their separate ways.

Knowing what they had been through made him want to kill everyone involved but unfortunately they were all in prison. Nevertheless he was planning to kill them at some point.

He knew they wouldn't finish the therapy session for another hour meaning they didn't have much time afterwards before everything closed for the day but he wanted to bond with his triplets.

He had already decided he would try and get all his kids to bond at the weekend, perhaps a family day out.

In the therapy sessions, the three triplets all responded differently. Skye was trying her best but always worrying. She wanted to get better but she wasn't ready to confront some of her demons. They focused slot on Skye's sleeping or rather lack of sleep.

James left out a few things too but he was  the easiest to talk to as he was a people pleaser so he didn't want the therapist getting annoyed because he didn't talk. They were currently working on James self esteem and confidence.

Alex spoke very little. They focused alot on his anger problems. Alex knew therapy was working to an extent but he knew he couldn't share he was a criminal living with the mafia with this random doctor so he was quite vague.

When the triplets were done they were quick to reunite, before going back to their father.

After a few words with the doctor, Rafael left the building with his kids.

"So I thought we could all get ice-cream" Rafael suggested.

The triplets were close but he knew the three of them all had different interests or hobbies so he chose something a little more standard.

The triplets looked to each other before agreeing.

"I feel like we don't spend a lot of time together and I do want to change that. You three are so important to me" Rafael said as they made their way to the ice-cream parlour.

"Thank you" James replied.

None of them saw Rafael as their dad yet but were willing to acknowledge he was their bio dad.

It made them wonder though, what exactly happened to their mother.

At the ice-cream parlour, all three faces seemed to light up at the sight of ice-cream making Rafael smile. "Order anything you like kids" his words seemed to make them more excited as the three of them started a serious debate on what to get.

Rafael smiled as he listened to his serious they were taking it.

James even threw a few facts in to back up what he was saying.

Rafael found it amusing and he was about to tell them they could order all flavours if they wanted but he recieved a very official answer from each of them.

After Rafael ordered, they started to talk. First about how school was, any friends, their hobbies.
The three children were quickly warming up to their father especially when he didn't pressure them for anwser and nothing about it seemed forced.

When they received their ice-cream. Rafael watched as their eyes lit up once more. He smiled as he saw they clearly enjoyed it and he found it amusing all three got brain freeze.

The four talked some more. It was mostly bonding and letting his kids be kids.

"So kids I'm thinking we all go out as a family soon. Is there anything or anywhere in particular I should know"  Rafael asked.

All three were fine with anything however they made it clear they didn't want to do anything dangerous. Rafael told them he would never put them in danger

As they left the ice-cream parlour, Rafael watched the triplets as they walked a few steps in front, talking to each other and simply bonding as triplets.
He was surprised yet thrilled when Alex asked for his opinion on football. It seemed this particular conversation was Alex trying to win over Skye and James but they were teasing him and had no interest. So Alex had asked his dad knowing Rafael liked football.

"You are coming to my next game right" Alex asked after the teasing stopped.

He hated that he was starting to like his family.

"Of course. We'll all be there and I'll make sure to embarrass these two for not liking football" Rafael replied.

"How will you embarrass us without embarrassing yourself" James asked.

Skye, Alex and Rafael looked at him with a 'did he just say that's expression.
"Face paint. You can show your school spirit" Rafael replied.

"Do you think Lorenzo would come" Alex asked. He was quite fond of his older brother not that he would admit it.
Leo and Nick were too nice to be subject to face paint and Marco would be helping out.

"I could do the face paint" Skye offered catching on to her brother's idea.

When they got home it seemed everything had changed. The three siblings became emotionless leading Rafael to worry, he was definitely going to plan a family day out. The triplets still weren't comfortable and he needed them to realise that they were loved.

Later that same evening, Alex had decided to visit Rafael in his office. Today  had helped Alex see what he could have but needed help getting there.

"Hello Alex is everything okay'  Rafael asked giving his son his full attention.

"Everything is fine. I was hoping to stop therapy though"

"May I ask why?" Rafael dared afsk

"Therapy is helping but it's not enough. I'm a criminal and I'm expected to play the role of a victim.  It's hard not being able to share the fucked up things I did"

"You can always talk to any of us" Rafael offered.

"I know that now" Alex whispered.
