"I don't know if this Kim Mi-rae is my baby sis or not, but one thing I'm sure about is that this lady you met at the hospital is not my baby sister." Taehyung announced.

Jungkook immediately looked at him with wide eyes. "Hyung -" Jungkook cut himself off by biting his lips, not being able to speak anything, while Jimin frowned, not understanding the reason why Taehyung made such a comment. "How are you so sure?" Jimin voiced out his thoughts, to which Taehyung shrugged his shoulders before saying, "Gut feeling."

Jimin frowned as he spoke. "Are you serious, dude? You know how serious the matter is, and here you're making such big statements just out of guts? What are we doing, gambling?" Taehyung rolled his eyes, completely ignoring him, and again looked at Jungkook, whose eyes hadn't left Taehyung since then. "I mean it."

Jimin sighed and massaged his head before saying, "You know your statement can have a big impact on him? If you're doubting her because of a solid proof or reason, then say, But just don't give him false hope; he is already finding it difficult to believe that -" Before he could complete it, Taehyung interrupted him, " I'm not giving him any hopes; all I'm saying is that that hospital lady is a fraud."

"And on what basis are you saying this? Oh yes, your gut feeling, right?" Taehyung rolled his eyes at Jimin's remark. "How can you be so sure that she isn't the Mi-rae you guys have been searching for? You just met her. Don't you think you should dig a little bit before jumping to the conclusion?" Jimin said as Taehyung furiously looked at him before replying, "I can say the same right. We shouldn't jump to the conclusion of her being Mi-rae before digging further to find the truth."

Jimin poked his cheeks, looking angry. It's not like he was trusting that lady blindly or supporting her; it's just that he wanted to protect Jungkook. He knew Jungkook had been finding his honey in Kim Mi-rae, so it's already difficult for him, and if this lady turns out to be his actual honey while he wasn't trusting her, then he will be more devastated.

Jimin scooted closer to Taehyung before speaking. "She was able to communicate with you so well, which means she knew you guys and your memories with her. Indirectly, you asked her so many questions, and she was able to answer everything, right? Even Mr. Lee interrogated everything before accepting her, so how can you just say she's a fraud just because you're having a gut feeling? She was a kid when you last saw her; obviously, her features, her personality, and her aura will change. You cannot expect to find the same little girl in her. She-"

Taehyung cut him off and asked, raising a brow, "How do you know I interrogated her? You weren't there; in fact, this is the first time we are meeting in person." Jimin rolled his eyes thinking if that is even important right now.

Jimin didn't bother to answer his question and took a deep breath before continuing with what he was saying: "That's not important, but what I'm saying is that you're not realising it, but he is already finding it difficult to accept that Kim Mirae is not his honey, and you making this kind of statement will only..."

Taehyung groaned and immediately interrupted him. "Listen here, I've never seen this Kim Mi-rae you're talking about, ok? I ain't saying that this Kim Mi-rae is our Mi-rae; I'll repeat this again. All I'm saying is that the lady we met at the hospital isn't our Mi-rae, and no matter what you say, I'll stick to this statement. I'm 100% sure that she's lying. Jungkook's eyes might be blocked by his tears to see all this, but not mine. I ain't making this assumption emotionally, but after thinking practically too."

"Still, how can you be this damn sure? Don't say the same gut feeling; there must be something for you to be 100% sure even without having proof." This time Jimin didn't ask furiously but with curiosity and doubt, as he sensed that it wasn't just a mere gut feeling but more than that.
