INT. GARAGE - EVENING
7:37 p.m.
Marty was struggling to close the garage door because its sensors were failing. She kept on tapping the remote on her palm, hoping that somehow it would work better after some fine tuning.
Harley noticed her through the rear view mirror. The garage door peeked by a quarter and it kept on going back and forth. Marty clicked her tongue—annoyed at the situation and for some reason, at him (for maybe wearing one of his navy blue polo shirts again).
She tried to reach for the edge of the garage door to pull it down, but he beat her to it.
HARLEY
Ayan, okay na.
MARTY
Thanks. Pasok ka na lang sa loob. Nasa CR lang si Ate. Hintayin mo na lang.
HARLEY
May dala pala akong donuts.
But Marty pretended she didn't hear what he said. She just walked straight to their house without turning around to check whether he was following her inside or not. She doesn't care anyway, even if he's new haircut complemented the shape of his face so well, and just how it suit him nicely.
HARLEY
Ilagay ko na lang 'to sa dining ninyo. Kuha ka na lang, ha?
MARTY
K.
HARLEY
Marty.
MARTY
O?
Harley paused for a while to weigh her out.
HARLEY
Galit ka ba sa 'kin?
MARTY
Hindi. Ba't naman ako magagalit sa 'yo?
HARLEY
Kasi parang galit ka.
MARTY
'Di ako galit. Wala lang ako sa mood. Magkaiba 'yon.
HARLEY
Ah . . .
He nodded.
HARLEY
Hindi ka galit . . . pero bati ba tayo?
MARTY
Siguro.
HARLEY
Siguro?
MARTY
Narinig mo na. 'Wag mo na ipaulit sa 'kin.
