Selene's POV
It was evening on Dragon's Edge and the gang and I were running a drill. Fishlegs wanted to test out the Gronckle Iron recipe for armor for our dragons. Toothless was unfortunately the test subject. I was watching from my hut, still trying to get used to my new fangs. "Feels weird, huh?" Crystal asked me as she put her head in my lap. "Very. I'm just wondering when the rest of my dragon appendages will grow in. It's painful and I want to be prepared for it," I told Crystal and she nodded her head. We then saw Toothless and Hiccup coming in hot. "Now!" I shouted and Crystal fired a plasma blast, telling the others to start the drill. Fishlegs was using the hooks and for some reason, Snotlout go to use the Ballista on top of Astrid's hut. The Night Fury was doing a good job evading, but part of his armor came off, giving Snotlout a chance to fire a paint arrow. It hit Toothless right in the center of his chest. And Snotlout being Snotlout, fired again, hitting my boyfriend right in the chest. Toothless then fired a plasma blast, sending the boy down the stairs. Afterwards, we all gathered at the stables. "Let's get this amor off you, Toothless," I told the Night Fury as I started to remove the Gronckle Iron armor. "Yes please! This metal is making me itch like crazy!" Toothless told me as he started scratching his body again. I just chuckled and finished removing the armor. Once free, Toothless ran around the platform with Crystal, clearly happy to be free of the itchiness. "Ugh! I thought we really had it this time!" Fishlegs walked over to Hiccup, grumbling. "Hey, this batch of Gronckle Iron armor lasted longer than the last one," Hiccup reassured the boy. Then came the twins and Snotlout, "yes, but not long enough. Wait, unless you wanted Hiccup to get shot down." And there goes Tuffnut with his accusations again. Ruff told her brother that his hypothesis was interesting, which lead Tuffnut to get right up in Fishleg's face. "Why are you trying to kill Hiccup?" Fishlegs then told the boy that he wasn't tying to kill my love. "That's exactly what someone trying to kill Hiccup would say," Tuff stated. "Indeed. We're keeping our eye on you, pal," Ruffnut spoke, invading Fishlegs' space.

Fishlegs grimaced, then looked at Hiccup and myself. "So, what do we try next?" The boy asks. "I think we have to make it thinner. That should make it lighter and flexible," Hiccup told the boy. "But it won't make it Snotlout-proof. Nothing can," Snotlout chuckled. "It's a good thing for you guys that I'm on your side," Snotlout stated, then Stormfly appeared and pushed the boy over. "You are? Huh. Sometimes it's hard to tell," Astrid chuckled. "Astrid! You're back from Berk already? I knew Stormfly was fast, but this is a new record," I joked. "Haha, Selene. But, I never made it to Berk. I ran into Trader Johann along the way and he had some interesting news. Guys, we need to talk," Astrid told us and by the tone of her voice, it's urgent. We all gathered at the clubhouse, waiting for Astrid to reveal what Johann told her. "Johann flagged me down on the way to Berk to tell me that he'd seen Ryker, Heather and the Dragon Hunters in the northern markets, buying all the cold weather gear they could get," Astrid revealed. That gave me a really bad feeling. "Why would you buy winter gear in the summer?" Snotlout asked, and it was a decent question. "Hello. That's when you get the best prices," Ruffnut told the boy and her twin revealed that his sister is an excellent shopper, got both their outfits. But, I started to fade in and out of my thoughts, when I realized what the hunters were doing. "Oh no!" I spoke with worry, and the others all looked at me with their own worried looks. "What is it, love?" Hiccup asked me, putting a hand on my cheek. "There's only one place that we know of that it's winter all year round. Glacier Island, home of the Snow Wraiths," I told the others and Astrid nodded her head. "Yeah. Johann told me that they needed to gear right away," Astrid added. "Why didn't Lillian send a Terror Mail though?" I questioned aloud. And that is when a small White Terror flew in. "Sorry about the delay. Lillian just found out about this. But, read alone is what she told me to pass on to you," the little dragon told me. "Is it from your sister?" Hiccup asked me and I nodded my head. "Yeah. I'll read it later. But, the Dragon Hunters stole the Dragon Eye from my ancestors. They specifically used a Snow Wraith tooth as a key, since they were so hard to find and to gain their trust," I told the others. "Who cares? All it means is that they aren't coming our way," Snotlout told us. I just glared at the boy. "I care! Blizzard and any other Snow Wraiths on that island are in serious danger. We're heading for Glacier Island at first light, so get some rest everyone," I ordered and walked away towards my hut. Once I got to my hut, I just growled. 'Those hunters are gonna pay for every dragon they've killed and sold,' I made a vow to myself and grabbed the letter and unrolled it to read.
