Selene's POV

It was another day here on Dragon's Edge, but, it wasn't just any day. It was Loki Day, the twins' favorite holiday. Basically, it's their excuse to prank everyone for 24 hours. Right now, Crystal and I were checking up on the wild dragon pack that helped us with the hunters. I was checking the leader, who I named Ares. "You're gonna be just fine, big boy. But, these scars show how much you've survived," I tried to give him praise, and it seemed to work. "Thank you young one, we're glad we found you," Ares told me. "Why's that?" I asked him as I put some medicinal cream on his scars. "We actually know your sister, Lillian," Ares revealed to me. My eyes widened at that. "Really? H-how though?" I asked the Nadder. Ares sighed and his left-hand dragon, a Monstrous Nightmare named Orion walked over to us. "After the Dragon Hunters attacked us and left, your sister stayed behind. She lied to the leader, saying that she was gonna 'teach us some manners' and he bought it. She removed her helmet and we knew she wasn't a threat. She told us about her bloodline and how she had a sister that was awakening her powers. When we saw you, we knew that you were Lillian's sister," Orion told me. I nodded my head, happy that Lillian was ok. "That explains part of why I didn't see her with Ryker when they attacked the Edge," I spoke as I put away the medicinal cream. "She left soon after, and that human named Johann appeared. I don't like that man, something about him doesn't settle right with me," Ares spoke. I just sighed and put my satchel back on. "Yeah, I don't like him either. Now, stay out of trouble ok?" I chuckled at the last bit. Ares and Orion nuzzled against me, then flew off towards where the herd made their nest. I waved goodbye and looked over at Crystal. "Shall we head back?" I asked her and she nodded her head. I got on her back and we flew back to the clubhouse. Upon arriving, I saw Astrid, Hiccup, Snotlout and Toothless were just chilling out. Hiccup noticed me first, "Selene. How are the dragons doing?" My lover proceeded to walk over and hug me tightly, after I got off Crystal's back,

"They're doing just fine. Ares and Orions' wounds are starting to heal, and apparently, Lillian was the one who kind of eased their minds about humans," I revealed. "Well that explains why she wasn't with Heather or Ryker when they attack the Edge," Astrid commented and I nodded my head in agreement. We all started talking about what we should do next in case the Dragon Hunters try to pull another one over us, when Fishlegs came running in, and he was very excited about something. He then told us that he saw this creature in the lagoon, and how it made a zapping noise, and other such things. "Oh my Thor. That's incredible, Fishlegs," Snotlout spoke, clearly faking it, but Fishlegs was too excited and fell for it. "I know, right?" The boy geeked. "Wrong! Loki Day trick, I can see it a mile away. If it isn't obvious to you all, I am way smarter then..." Snotlout was cut off because he walked right into a rope, and is now suspended in the air. "Obviously. Much smarter," Fishlegs groaned and I just rolled my eyes. The twins then appeared, "Loki'd!" Snotlout just gave a fake laugh, and told us how he doesn't believe Fishlegs' story about the creature in the lagoon. "Creature in the Edge lagoon. Just when you thought it was safe to take a bath in a lagoon," Tuff spoke and we all looked at him like he was already much more insane than he already was. "Okay, any day now," Snotlout grumbled, referring to him wanting to be let go. "Crystal," I spoke. "Alrighty," she spoke and fired a plasma blast at the rope, freeing the boy. "Thanks. Much appreciated," Snotlout spoke. Crystal just chortled and walked over and snuggled against Toothless. "Look, you can Loki all you want. I know what I saw," Fishlegs defends himself. "We've been swimming and fishing in that cove for months, Fishlegs. Don't you think we would've seen something if there was something to see?" Hiccup asks the chubby Viking. "Are you sure it wasn't just the light coming through the fog? It can play really weird tricks on you. Especially at that hour," Astrid adds. "Hey, Fishlegs could be right. Maybe this creature just appeared recently," I tried defending the boy, but nobody was listening to me. "Sounds to me like somebody's got Loki'd by the fog," Tuff smirks at the boy. "It wasn't the fog, you guys. There's something out there. Something real. And as usual, you won't believe it until I prove it," Fishlegs spoke and walked away afterwards.
