Ash: fay?? it's me, Ash

Fay: oh hey ash

Ash: everything okay ?

Fay: yeah, my last final is tmr

Ash: ik u were telling me all week lol

Fay: anyways i should get going, i'm gonna have a family meeting and i'm leading it

Ash: what's it abt?

Fay: just something else, no need to worry abt it

Ash: i will believe u this once, but it seems that ur more quiet than usual...

Fay: its just finals

Ash: ok u promise to tell me when u meet me?

Fay: promise, but i'll be meeting u in july, since my family and i are gonna go on vacay

Ash: wait where are u guys going?

Fay: uhh Florida

Ash: ur gonna stay in Florida for like a month?

Fay: yeah we have a house down there

Ash: oh ok, good luck on the fam meeting, you'll do great 😊

Fay: thx Ash :)

"Mom, dad, can we talk about something?" I asked nervously.

"Sure honey, what's up?"

"I wanna talk about next school year."

"Are you wanting to get some extra classes?" My mom asked with high hopes.

"No, it's not about that. It's about something else."

"What is it then?"

"I think I wanna become a songwriter."

"That's wonderful honey, now you know what classes to take in college!" My mom squeals happily.

"But that's the thing, I can already write tons of songs without going to college. And you know that guy I'm talking to? Well he offered me a job in California for songwriting. And I would be full time, and wouldn't be needing school."

"Honey, are you sure this guy is legit?"

"Yeah, he is."

"I'm not opposed to it." My dad said, shrugging his shoulders.

"Justin, we can't let our daughter go across the world for gods sake!" My mother yelled.

"Honey, she's only in California, not New York." My dad assured my mom.

"We'll have to call the school, and get your release papers."

I squealed in happiness, and flapped my hands around.

"Am I really going to California?"

"Yes we have agreed, but you'll need to find a job, and a place to stay in." My mom rattled off.

"You'll be given $5,000 every month by us, but you will have to make up the difference." My dad told me.

So instead of my family going to Florida for a month it was for 2 weeks, which I was okay with. We spent the other 2 weeks in California. My family rented a condo for the vacation, but I had to work. I had a side job at Starbucks.

While I was working, I got asked by so many guys, and I went on so many dates, but they never followed up for another date. And they were never like Ashton. I mean I never knew because Ashton and I never went on a date yet.
