Y/N's POV, May 14th 2023

Out of all the guys, Nikki had always been the most interested in any technological advances in the world, Nikki was always very on it and had always been the first one to try anything new whether it be phones, TV's, streaming services or social media, then he'd go on and on at the other guys about how they had to have it too.

It was cute to see Nikki geek out about these things when he figured something out did something right, he'd always been that way and it never got old.

I'd met Nikki in 1990, I'd been brought in by Doug to help him out with band affairs and I got on with everyone, but there was something between me and Nikki pretty quickly.

I was seven years younger than Nikki, and when we met he was married to Brandi Brandt and I kept things professional, no matter how much he flirted with me. Eventually, when his marriage started to really break down in 1995, we started an affair. It was wrong and I'd known it but by then I'd fallen in love with him and seeing him unhappy hurt and I couldn't let it carry on and we've been together ever since.

It's been hard being with Nik at times, despite the fact I adored him, he did have certain personality traits which got on my nerves sometimes, and they'd got him in trouble in the past but I like to think I brought out the best in Nikki and he brought the best out in me.

And trust me after being introduced to the world of Mötley Crüe in person, after only having heard about it before I worked for them, it was definitely something special, and I joined them when they were sober, or more sober than they had been in prior years anyways.

Since meeting all of them, I'd sort of become their referee, I called out their bullshit and told them when they were all being bastards, and that's something I've had to tell Tommy and Nikki more times than I care to remember.

I tried to get them to listen to me but it was rather like talking to a brick wall sometimes, I could never hate any one of the guys, ever but I disagreed with a lot of what they said and did.

And this is where Nikki's social media usage becomes a problem, because he doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut which results in conflict and Nik's ego being bruised and then it's a vicious cycle but he does care about the fans, he does. An ego is a powerful thing and can definitely be deceiving.

When he does in Q and A's on Twitter and stuff, he of course picks which questions he wants to answer and that goes rather well. Fans asked me questions too, fans have always seemed to like me, they like Nikki and I together and that's a really nice feeling, I balance Nikki out, fans see that.

Anyway, the bassist loves his Q and A's but live Q and A's were something he didn't make a habit of though they were in high demand from fans so while he had the time today thought 'why the fuck not?'.

I didn't do as much fan interaction as Nikki, as they weren't necessarily my fans in my mind, but I was pretty tech savvy myself, I wasn't much for social media though until Nikki got Instagram and when he got Instagram, he begged and begged me to get it too until I caved, now he never went a post without tagging me in it.

We were on tour right now with Def Leppard, or were about to be, we were currently in a hotel in London before we'd go up north to Sheffield where this leg of the tour was starting off, which meant me and Nikki were in our hotel room right now and was doing his Instagram live Q and A. He'd done a few livestreams before even though they were a rarity and they were always entertaining and this was no different.
