Y/N's POV, 2015

Tomorrow night was the end of thirty four years of Mötley Crüe. The final show. It was something all the guys had agreed upon and had been confident about doing... however, it had become a little bit too real the last couple of days.

I'd been part of the Crüe life since 1986, which was the year Nikki and I met. He'd accidentally clipped my car and we met after he got out and apologised. Nikki was expecting me to be furious and I was pissed yes, but he'd apologised and stuck around, exchanged insurance details and even said he'd pay for the damage. Which meant he gave me his number to keep in touch, and even after he'd paid my bill for the repair, we found ourselves in regular phone calls.

We met in the June and got together officially in the October, going out on our first date. At the time I hadn't expected things to last as long as they had, but here we were. I was seven years younger than Nikki so was twenty one when we met, a lot of my friends weren't a huge fan of our relationship in the beginning and I wasn't either.

I saw and understood their concerns but there was something about Nikki, he was addictive and whether I wanted to be or not, I was hooked on him. I eventually just forgot about it the seven years gap because it never really mattered. I loved him and wasn't going to let those seven years ruin that.

Nikki and I married in 1990, and have two children born in 1992 and 1995. So they were both adults by now and were also moved out, one only a few months ago. Kia and Summer, they would be at the show tomorrow night to send off the Crüe along with everyone else but tonight, it was just Nikki and I, at home given we were in Los Angeles for the final show so didn't have to drive far, meaning a hotel was a waste of money.

We'd arrived home and hadn't done much while being here, mostly just sleeping honestly. Watching some TV but mainly as background noise. I'd suggested getting an early night tonight given we had a busy day tomorrow, we'd settled down for sleep at eight o'clock, and I thought we'd both be long asleep but I woke up a little at two, to turn over and went to reach out for Nikki, but all I got in was cold sheets.

This woke me up considerably. I lifted my head up and double checked to make sure Nikki wasn't there, and nope, he was nowhere to be seen. So, I hauled myself up and looked around the room, furrowing my eyebrows. I was about to call out for him when my eyes moved in the direction of the balcony where I spotted Nikki leant on the railing, looking over the back yard.

I sighed and threw the duvet off me then placed it back over where I'd been laying to try and conserve some warmth for when I got back in. I rushed to the bedroom door and grabbed a dressing gown, throwing it onto myself, to go outside to Nikki.

Once the garment was on, and tied around my waist I shoved my hands in my pockets and started heading towards the sliding glass door, out onto the balcony. I opened it as little as I could, slipping through the gap I'd made and then closing it behind me, taking a few steps forward to get even the bassist "Nik? What are you doing out here, it's two am." I asked.

"Thinking. I'm sorry for waking you up. Should have thought you have noticed... you always do. It's alright, you can go back to bed I'll come back in a bit."

"If you think I'm leaving you out there to freeze your nuts off alone, then you don't know me every well. Which is shameful given how long we've been together."
