Nico wasn't stupid, he obviously didn't actually GO to hell, he went to his second favourite place of all time.

Yeah, ok, he went to McDonald's ordered a big Mac meal hid in the shadows to eat and nearly dropped his drink in surprise when he felt someone's presence in the Underworld... The presence was familiar, someone he knew was in the Underworld! Nico immediately thought to go help them through the Underworld or at least get them out but something was stopping him,
" Don't son, it has been planned, you can not change fate's mind."
Nico blinked, son? Wait- " Dad?" He thought no, it can't be his dad, his dad never talks or contacts him. Nico shook his head " I should talk to Dad then, ask him why" The shadows then took Nico to one of the places he dreaded the most.
