A Pirate's Visit

3rd Person POV

"Cub! Thank goodness you're back! X could be up any minute and spawn is in flames!"

"Yeah, I can see that. Where's Etho? Or Tango? Doc? Someone."

"That's a great question, I'm not sure."

Cub sighs, "I'll go find- and Xisuma's awake."

"I told you the server would be on fire."

"Ok ok you were right, will you please help me now!"

"I'm coming."

Xisuma walks over to the small group, "Puffy, Sam, its great to see you again. I see someone's had a growth spurt."

"It's been a few years since you've seen me."

"It has, are you here to see Doc and Zed?"

"Yeah..."

"Come on, I'll take you over there."

Sam follows Xisuma, leaving Keralis to put the fire out. 

"While they're doing that I'll introduce you to our new member. Dream are you coming with us or somewhere else?"

"I'll go with you guys."

Cub nods, leading the two to Grian's place.

"Grian! Are you home?"

"Yeah!" He flies down, landing in front of the trio, "What's up Cub?"

"G this is Puffy and Dream, they're friends of mine visiting for a little bit."

"Dream?"

"Grian? Is that really you?"

The boy nods, hugging Dream tightly.

"I didn't think I was ever going to see you again."

"I'm here now G."

Puffy and Cub share a look, "I feel like we missed something."

"At least I'm not the only one out of the loop."

"You're still as short as I remember."

"Shut up, you're just abnormally tall."

"Are you staying out of trouble?"

"Of course I am, when have I ever caused trouble?"

"Yeah, I wonder, I'm glad you're ok."

"I'm glad you're ok too."

"I guess we're never going to know what's happening here."

"I guess not, nice to see my little duckling happy though."

"Yeah, same with Grian, Xisuma has been so worried about him."

Puffy studies the shorter, "I wonder why, he seems alright. Then again it's easy to hide your true emotions."

Cub looks down at his communicator as it goes off, "I have to run, will you be ok?"

"Yep, I'll let you know if Dream or I need anything."

"Thanks again Puffy, I owe you."

"You still owe me for last time."

"No clue what you're talking about."

Cub takes off and Puffy walks over to the two, "Hello, you must be Grian, Xisuma's new member."

"That's me, Puffy right?"

"Yep, could we possibly chat for a little bit?"

The shorter glances at Dream, cracking under the look the taller was giving him.

"I guess that would be ok."

The pirate smiles, "I just want to get to know you a little more, nothing terrible."

Grian nods, already knowing where this is going to go.
