Chapter 19

Sabay sabay kaming pumasok sa aming first period, nagkahiwa hiwalay lang kami ng building. I noticed that Blair still seemed lost in thought after the conversation.

I know she's upset about her almost-boyfriend, but I think there's something else bothering her. I saw Leira and Blair exchange looks earlier, which was kinda strange.

I almost asked her about it, but I want to be sensitive to how she's feeling after what happened.

Ano na kayang nangyari sa police report ni Miss Freya? Gustong gusto ko siyang itext, kaso after niyang isend yung video, ay hindi na ako nakapag reply pa sakanya.

Nang makapasok na kami sa first period, na madalang kong pasukan, ay nag attendance na agad kami.

Yung professor namin na wala namang paki alam ay nag didiscuss na, hindi naman ako masyadong nakikinig dahil hindi ko rin naman feel matuto ngayon.

Mas feel kong matulog sa totoo lang, maaga kasi akong nagising dahil nga napagkasunduan namin na maaga magkita kita kanina.

I just sat at my desk, trying to keep my focus at the front of the classroom. But it was hard. The whole class seemed to be suffering from a severe case of boredom.

Anika, on the other hand, was the only one actually paying attention. She was scribbling notes and nodding along as if this class was the most exciting thing in the world.

Our professor's monotonous voice wasn't helping. I glanced over at Blair, who was slumped in her chair, her eyes half-closed.

Her blonde hair was draped over her face like a curtain, and it seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else. I couldn't blame her; this class was a snoozefest.

Estellur, on the desk next to Blair, was equally disinterested. She was leaning back in her chair, her arms folded across her chest, and her gaze was fixed on the ceiling.

It was clear that she was lost in her own world, counting down the minutes until the next class. Buti nalang hindi ito inaatake ng panic attack ngayon.

I couldn't help but wonder what was going on with Blair. She usually takes down notes during boring lectures. But today, it seemed like she was in her own little worlds, disconnected from the rest of us. Sino ba kasi ang naiisip nito? Si Leira or si Mack?

Then there was Dwayne Wang, sitting a few rows ahead of me. I noticed him smirking, and my stomach churned. It seemed like he was up to something, something stupid no doubt.

Dwayne was the kind of guy who thrived on chaos and mischief. He was always pushing boundaries, and his kamanyakan were legendary among our classmates.

I rolled my eyes at him and turned my attention back to the front, determined not to give him the satisfaction of engaging with his antics. I couldn't forget the what he did, never!

I could still feel the anger and frustration welling up inside me. It angered me how we both ended up in the guidance office, and he just got that kind of punishment?

The memory of that embarrassing incident still stung, and I had no intention of repeating it in my head. So, I kept my eyes on the clock, counting down the minutes until this class was over and we could all escape to the next one. Freya's class.

As the seconds ticked by, I couldn't help but glance at Blair again. She seemed lost in thought, her brow furrowed as if she were wrestling with some deep internal conflict.

I wondered what was bothering her. Blair was usually so carefree and full of life, but today, she looked like a completely different person. Kahit pa nagkakaproblem ito sa love life hindi ito nagpapaka sad girl na ganito. Ngayon lang.
