The lavish setting of the five-star hotel and restaurant exuded an air of sophistication as I took my seat across from Mr. Covington and Chada. Medyo napaaga sila, but I am just on time sa oras ng meeting namin.

Pinatawag nila ako dahil may importante silang sasabihin. I flashed an encouraging smile. Actually, siningit lang talaga nila ako ngayong araw dahil may kameeting din si Mr. Covington after this. Kaya naman nagmamadali akong nagpunta agad rito sa meeting place.

"Good morning, Mr. Covington! Hey, Chada!"

"What a beautiful morning, Miss Narvaez. You always look gorgeous" as Mr. Covington gave me a compliment, I couldn't help but smile.

"Thank you, Mr. Covington! Kumusta po?"

"Good good! So, Kayla, let me get straight to the point," Mr. Covington began, his gaze unwavering, "the team at LuxeLife magazine is keen on featuring you as their cover star for the upcoming issue. It's going to be iconic!"

I paused at sandaling napanganga.

My eyes widened at the revelation. LuxeLife magazine—the epitome of glamour and sophistication. To be on their cover was a dream I hadn't dared to vocalize.

"Seriously?" I exclaimed, unable to conceal my excitement.

I couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement at his words. I know he's also the co-owner of that prestigious magazine. Isa ito sa mga pagkakataong hinihintay ko.

Ang LuxeLife magazine ay sikat sa buong Asia, Amercia, and Europe. At mga sikat na model lang talaga ang nafefeature sa magazine na ito.

"Yeah, actually we've been eyeing Valentina Soler, pero halos lahat sa board of directors, napagkaisahan namin na ikaw ang magiging featured for this quarter.

"Thank you, Mr. Covington. I'm honored," I replied, trying to maintain a composed exterior. Pero deep inside me gusto kong magtatalon. Sunod sunod lang talaga yung good news. Hindi ko akalain. I mean, sobrang blessed!

Mr. Covington nodded, a subtle smile playing on his lips. "Absolutely. We believe you embody the essence of luxury and style that LuxeLife represents. It's a perfect fit."

Nag-usap kami about sa detalye pero parang lumilipad yung isip ko kasi sobrang dream come true! Gusto ko nan gang kurutin yung sarili ko ngayon kasi baka panaginip lang 'to.

Una sa Milan Fashion Week, tapos sa Couture fashion week naman, tapos cover ng LuxeLife? OMG! I'm so blessed! Siguro magiging busy ako sa mga susunod na linggo at susunod na buwan.

Habang nagdidiscuss si Chada and si Mr. Covington ay nakita kong napapatingin ito sa phone dahil tumutunog iyon, then Mr. Covington glanced at his watch.

"Kayla, hate to rush you, but we have another guest arriving shortly, a potential investor for our company. Siguro hanggang dito nalang, we'll discuss this soon"

I nodded and smiled, "Of course, Mr. Covington. I appreciate the opportunity, and I'll make my exit."

Nagpaalam na rin si Chada kaya sabay na kaming tumayo at lumabas ng building.

"Told ya! Sunod sunod yung projects mo girl, ano kaya pa?" habang naglalakad kami papunta sa parking ay tinanong ako nito, bakas din yung excitement sa mga mata niya.

"I will never complain, Chada. This is a dream come true! Thanks"

"No. Thank you, Kayla. Sige na, may date pa 'ko. Ikaw rin, 'wag puro work, lumandi ka rin minsan" yun lang ang sinabi nito at saka nagbeso kami bago siya tuluyang sumakay sa sasakyan.
