The next day, I started feeling better and I was ready to go home. While charging my phone, I used it to check my social media accounts. Nothing new, just informed Chada that I needed to rest before diving back into work.
Which is totally fine because she's currently on vacation with her afam gay boyfriend. Yes, they're both out and proud, and I'm happy for Chada. She's become like a cool tita to me.
She's even been helping me out to get that dream car of mine. She knows someone at the Authorized Bentley Dealer here in the Philippines, and we've discussed the customization too.
I'm so excited because I've already made the down payment. Just a few more things to take care of, and I'm all set. Sobrang excited na ako!
Napukaw ang excitement ko nang magsalita nag ate ko na kakatapos lang magbihis.
"Parating na si dad kaya aalis na rin ako. And please Kayla, wag ka na muna magphone, hindi ka pa totally okay." Naiinis na sabi nito.
"Ugh! Fine!," padabog na binaba ko ang phone. "Please, next time don't leave me here with a stranger." Hanggang ngayon ay naiinis pa rin ako dahil iniwan ako nito sa kaibigan nito na galing Australia.
Malay ko ba dun kung sino yun? Baka mamaya psychopath pala yun tapos sakalin nalang ako habang natutulog kanina.
"What? You mean, Freya?" She asked frowning.
"Whatever her name is." I responded while rolling my eyes at her. Sino pa ba?
"Stop being a brat. Umalis lang ako saglit to get my things kahapon. Di ko naman alam na magigising ka ng wala ako. You should be thankful na napakiusapan ko yung tao"
Wow ha? Should I be thankful na sinira nya project ko?
"Ugh! Basta na stress ako sakanya!," I paused and checked her reaction. Mukhang gustong gusto na nitong umalis kanina pa.
"By the way, could you please tell dad to let us have some vacay on the weekend? Like srsly, I feel so stressed na sa school and work"
"Hmmm, let's see. Where do you wanna go?"
"Kahit saan. Let's take a break from the city"
She nodded.
"You sure kaya mo na magbyahe?"
"Yeah. May ilang days pa bago mag weekend. I can recover easily" I confidently said. Madali lang naman ako makakarecover, basta I'll make sure to eat more food rich in potassium.
"Kung kakain ka ng maayos, probably yes you can. Sige, I'll tell dad."
"Alright. And thank you pala" mahina ang pagkakasabi ko nun medyo nahihiya rin ako kasi naabala ko ito.
Sobrang busy nito sa CasTel at alam ko gusto rin nitong magtayo ng sariling restaurant. Hindi naman kasi kami masyado nagkakausap ng maayos.
"Don't mention it" She responded bago kami makarinig ng katok sa pinto. Pumasok si dad, kasama ang driver nito. May bitbit itong mga prutas at bulaklak.
"Good morning, my princess,"he said while kissing my forehead. Bumaling din ito sa ate ko. "Good morning sweetheart" at saka humalik sa noo niya.
"Morning dad" sabay naming bati kay daddy.
Nagpaalam na rin si ate Gianni na umalis dahil may importante rin itong lakad. Kami nalang ni dad ang natira at nakita ko ang pag-aalala sa mukha nito.
