Evangeline was known as the mystery of camp half-blood, no one had an idea of where she came from. Not a single thing was known about her. She was the girl who was followed by death.
She was an outcast among everyone, the girl who was consumed by shadows. Her mind played games that no one understood. Seeing things that were never there, glimpses of the dead never leaving her head. She felt like an outsider in her own skin. Death acted as a shadow following her like a protection. It would never leave until she came face to face with it.
Somehow the daughter of Hades was forced to fight in a war she didn't ask to fight in. She was forced to play her part in the tale the fates wrote and she was stuck being a pawn in the gods' games, stuck being used to do things the gods couldn't, she was stuck in an endless loop of insanity.
But during these quests and battles, Evangeline slowly and madly fell in love with the one person she swore she would never love.
