The pimples were finally cleaned up. When she heard Eunha's next words, she sneered silently at the mirror. "Hurry up and get a divorce, so you can have some space, alright?"

"I wish for that too," she said. "But look at Jungkook. It's true that he's a little temperamental, he's quite the man of his word. Since he has already given me his word, we can rest assure that he'll keep them."

Outside the door, Jungkook's cheeks stiffened up, trapped between an unsure smile and a grimace. It was rare to hear Lisa praise him. If this topic did not involve their divorce, he might have been a little happier.

"You know all too well how badly I want to enter the entertainment industry. If I leave Jungkook, living without money or power will take some getting used to. I also wouldn't know when I'll be able to make a name for myself. If I don't make a safety net for myself now, how am I going to live my life in the future?"

Eunha didn't expect Lisa to say something like that. Wasn't love more important than anything else in her life? Her heart was only set on brother Mingyu. She never worldly possessions like money a second thought.

Eunha could not understand why Lisa seemed to have changed into a completely different person in just a few days. Yesterday, she had been uncharacteristically harsh to Mingyu and even dragged her down with her. Today, she was planning to take a cut of Jungkook's flesh. She had clearly wanted to stay as far away from Jungkook as possible and draw a clear line with him. She seemed to repulse every aspect of his existence.

Eunha didn't know why this change had occurred. She was afraid that Lisa and Jungkook would get more entwined with each other, and the longer they dragged on, the more variables would appear in their divorce. So, she continued to defame Jungkook as she usually did, hoping to scare Lisa. "Have you forgotten what I told you?"

"Jungkook is a demon trapped in human flesh. The reason the Jeon Group grew so rapidly over the past few years is because Jungkook took the helm. That man who would do anything to achieve his goals. He won't stop, even if they are far from legal. His methods are also particularly cruel. Those who have stood in his way or offended him have all been dealt with particularly miserably by him. You cuckolded him, but instead of hiding far away, you're trying to approach him and demand for a cut of his assets. Are you tired of living?"

Outside the door, Jungkook raised his eyebrows. He was indeed swift and decisive in his actions, but he was still far from the level of a demon, right? Jungkook's heart felt a pang of bitterness. Lisa had been so cantankerous to him all this time. Was it because she believed the slander her best friends had against him?

Jungkook, who didn't realize that he had not been far off the mark, felt a heart of lead weighing down his chest. For a moment, he didn't know if he should explain himself to Lisa, but then he heard her say, "I don't know what Jungkook is like out there, but he's been quite tolerant of me."

If Jungkook was really as ruthless as Eunha said, he would not have put up with the antics of the original Lisa. If he had caught her confessing to another man and forcing him to divorce her by jumping off a building, he would've crushed her into pieces a long time ago. Why would he give in to her and even draft such a generous divorce agreement?

When she remembered how Jungkook carried her all the way home, carefully treated her wounds, and even asked Alice to prepare noodles for her, Lisa's heart warmed up, and she couldn't help but defend Jungkook.

Eunha's heart skipped a beat when she heard Lisa's words. Didn't Lisa hate Jungkook to death before? Why would she suddenly turn around and speak for him? She said anxiously, "That's because you were still married to him, so he put up with you. But now that he has agreed to divorce you and draw the line, there is nothing between the two of you anymore. If you continue to anger him, who knows what that demon would do?"

After hearing what she said, Jungkook was now completely certain that there was something acutely wrong with Eunha. He just didn't know what Lisa was thinking, and whether she would continue to listen to her.

At this thought, Jungkook took out his phone and sent a message to his assistant, asking him to check on this woman, Eunha.

"Ohh..." Lisa deliberately dragged out that utterance. While Eunha was burning with anxiety, she suddenly threw a random question. "If Jungkook is such a dangerous person, why did you encourage me to divorce him and push me to Mingyu's side? Aren't you afraid that I'll anger him, and he'll come after me?"
