Chapter 90: Conspiracy

Lisa walked to the door, and suddenly there was a more fragrant smell coming from the door.

Suddenly, the drug in her body took effect. Lisa's legs went soft, and she fell to the ground. She lost all her strength.

She slowly moved to the door and listened to the footsteps.

The footsteps belonged to two people, and it was mixed with intermittent talking.

"Why are you so obsessed with that small-time actress? She's useless to us! What's the point of marrying her? What kind of drug did she give you to make you so devoted to her?" It was Suzy's voice.

"Sister, you don't know what love is. I really like Nancy, but I don't like Lisa. It's very simple. I feel annoyed just by looking at her. I feel disgusted even talking to her, let alone getting married." It was Mingyu.

His voice was sharp and questioning, "Sister, why do I have to marry Lisa? What does she have? Did she cast a spell on you? Why are you doing all this?"

Suzy lowered her voice. "Mingyu, do you not see it? Lisa's mother used to be a famous doctor. It was said that she produced several long-lost prescriptions. Rumors has it that Lisa has been drinking a lot of her medicine since she was young. She is practically an enhanced human. The blood in her body may yield some amazing secrets."

When Lisa heard Suzy's words, she opened her mouth in surprise.

It explained Suzy's zealous efforts. She had even resorted to drug her.

Lisa clenched her fists and dug her nails into her flesh for a brief moment of clarity.

From what Suzy had said, she wanted Mingyu to settle the matter with her tonight and then force her to marry Mingyu.

Lisa smiled coldly. She would not let them have their way.

Mingyu's voice came from outside again. "Sister, those are just fairytales. Why would you listen to all that nonsense? Even if I marry Lisa, would she let us study her?"

"You're really stupid. Lisa will be in our hands. She will eventually reveal the formula, and there'll be plenty of opportunities to get her blood. Our family is mainly in the pharmaceutical line, and everything's going downhill. If we don't use this method, what else can we do?" Suzy said.

Imprison and research?

Did this group of people really think of her as a lab rat?

Lisa propped herself up, moved to the side of the cabinet, and held the lamp in her hand.

If  Mingyu really came in, she would knock him out and plan her escape.

"Sister, will Lisa give in if you do this?" Mingyu said with a cold smile.

"My silly brother, isn't this what women care about the most? Lisa definitely likes you. You simply broke her heart. If you sleep with her tonight, maybe her feelings for you will rekindle." Suzy's voice took on a cunning edge.

Mingyu smiled bitterly. "Sister, I will figure out a way to deal with the family matters. I will not touch Lisa."

"You're really stubborn." Suzy sneered. "You're the heir of the Park  family. Some thing must be done."

Suzy raised her voice. "Come on then. Two of you, throw Mingyu in."

Immediately after, Mingyu was restrained and thrown in by two huge men. Suzy followed him in. She looked around, but didn't see Lisa. However, she heard the sound of water in the bathroom.

Suzy was overjoyed. "My dear brother, this is a God-given opportunity. Lisa is taking a bath inside. Go in and settle the matter now."

Suzy gave the servants a look, and the three of them walked out of the door together.

Mingyu sat on the ground and laughed at himself. His family had lost their minds.

He looked at the lights in the bathroom, and his eyes suddenly blurred.

The faint fragrance coming from outside made him a little dazed.

His body started to heat up, and a strange desire took over his mind.

He couldn't control his legs and walked towards the bathroom. For some reason, Lisa's face appeared in his mind.

Lisa's graceful body seemed to be in front of him, and desire occupied his mind.

Perhaps this wasn't a bad idea.

At the very least, he could marry Lisa and fulfill his obligations. Then, he could let Nancy be his lover. After all, it was normal for men to have some dirty dealings outside.

Besides, Lisa was also a stunner, so he was not going to lose out if he slept with her.
