Hey, guys! I am aware that it's been a painful while since I updated. I was actually on holiday with my friends, and I had an amazing time!

But aside from that, things are starting to heat up and I have a few plans for Whiteout! You'll just have to guess what I plan to do with her!

Also, for those who have requested me a few things (drawings, etc), I'm sorry that I haven't gotten around to them yet! I'll try and update as soon as possible!

Anyway, here you go!

"Where are you, Bethany?" Bella murmured, searching the stars. She had given up hope that Wilbert would give up on her, if he ever thought about it.

She thought it was strange how they would want to settle on such an enormous piece of ice berg. She was fully exposed - of course they would look above water and find her immediately! Was Wilbert planning something?

Wilbert seemed to have vanish, somehow. Whiteout was keeping watch on her, her steely, ice blue eyes narrowed. Bella didn't know why the white fox hated her so much..

Wait a minute.

Was it Bella's imagination, or did she see a flicker of grief pass over her eyes? Bella was a sensitive beagle, and took people's feelings seriously. Why would Whiteout be upset?

Her thoughts were interrupted by Wilbert's loud snarl. "Whiteout! I thought I told you to bring her down here!"

Whiteout's expression hardened. "Shut up! I'm looking out for the Octonauts for you!" She looked at Bella, biting her lip, as if hiding a secret no one knew.

She suddenly beckoned for her to come closer to her. Bella was unsure, but the fox gave an impatient hiss. "Just come, you idiot," she snapped.

Bella slowly came forward, grimacing as she imagined Whiteout taking out a knife and stabbing her..

To her surprise, Whiteout began to speak. "Bella. Before the Octonauts come, I am going to flee. You must tell no one of this, or your family will- or I will be killed," she corrected herself hastily.

Bella was stunned into silence. Why was she running? Why was she trusting her, at all?! Then she remembered Whiteout didn't approve of Wilbert as much as he did to himself. He yelled at her, insulted her, and ill-treated her like any villain did to their own henchman.

Bella couldn't help but feel sorry for her. "I won't tell a soul." She promised her. And for once, Whiteout smiled. She actually smiled.

"Thank you."

"Wait. What about me? Are you taking me with you?" Bella asked softly. Whiteout shook her head. "No. Your heart lies within the depths of the ocean. Farewell, Bella."

Bella nodded, confused and startled by her motherly words. The white fox slipped gracefully down, and began to clamber down, so she wouldn't make a splash. That was why Wilbert had chosen such a large ice berg - so if she escaped, he would have heard her.

Suddenly she stopped with a jolt. What had he said to Whiteout before she left her? Bring her down, was it? She knew of course that Wilbert wouldn't just be hanging onto the ice berg like it was a mountain camp zone. She knew that even though he was stupid, he was also sharp and determined when it came to his plans.

The sudden image of a humungous tsunami, hurtling towards her father's ship, flashed through her mind. But instead of feeling upset, Bella felt something else. Rage.

And then Wilbert had laughed like a lunatic, dancing crazily around his machine, celebrating his.. victory.

"No!" She told herself sternly. "Bella, you mustn't give up hope! He has not won yet!"
