Jayden's POV
"So, where are we going?" Evangeline ask as we get into the car.
"I'm not telling you."
"And why not?"
"Cause I'm not."
"Fine, let's play a game."
"What kind of game?"
"Would you rather."
"Ok."
It takes us an hour and a half to get to where I'm taking her. The whole drive we played different games and asked silly questions. I got to know more about her family and she learned about mine. We pull up in a long path where a house and a barn are at.
"Where are we?" Evangeline ask as we get out of the car.
"I'll tell you after you get changed. Heels and what I have planed do not go great together."
"What are we doing?"
"You'll see." I tell her as I pull her to a house.
"Jayden, is that you?" a voice calls out.
"Yes, it's me. Come on I want you to meet someone." I pull Evangeline towards the kitchen.
"Hey, Jayden. How long has it been since you were last here?" my friend's mom, Daisy hugs me.
She is a forty year old woman and has a seventeen year old daughter and a twenty year old son. Her husband and her got a divorce ten years ago and she never remarried, but she does date.
"Too long." I hug her back.
"Who is this beautiful young lady here?" she looks at Evangeline.
"This is my girlfriend Evangeline."
"Hi, it's nice to meet you." Evangeline holds her hand out.
"Nice to meet you too. I'm Daisy." Daisy pulls her into a hug. "You need to change clothes, what he has planed, you can't be dressed like that."
"What does he have planned?"
"Well he's going-" Daisy starts.
"Mama, I'm home!" a voice is heard.
"Dandy guess who's here?"
"Who is it?" we hear footsteps coming towards us.
"Dandy, how've you been?" I ask when she walks into view.
"Jayden." she hugs me.
"Ow! What was that for?" I rub my arm.
When I get out of the hug she punches me in my shoulder.
"For not coming here for, I don't know, six months!" she balls her fist up.
"I'm sorry. Just school and the parents on top of that." I throw my hands up in surrender.
"Whatever. Who's this?" Dandy turns towards Evangeline.
"This is Evangeline, my girlfriend." I wrap my arm around Evangeline's waist.
"Nice to meet you." Evangeline sticks her hand out.
"You too." Dandy shakes her hand.
"Dandy, would you let Evangeline borrow some of your clothes to wear?" Daisy says.
