Emma and Y/N's relationship had grown stronger with each passing day. They shared their dreams, their secrets, and their love. Emma had often spoken about her parents, especially her father, who had always been a protective and somewhat intimidating figure in her life. So, when the time came for Y/N to meet them for the first time, she was both excited and nervous.

It was a sunny weekend when Emma and Y/N decided to make the journey to Emma's childhood home. Y/N couldn't help but feel a bit jittery as they walked up to the front door. Emma squeezed her hand reassuringly, and Y/N couldn't help but smile.

As the door opened, Emma's parents greeted them warmly. Her mother was gracious and welcoming, but Y/N couldn't help but notice the skeptical look in the eyes ogf Emmas father. He was a tall and imposing figure, and it was clear he was protective of his daughter.

Throughout the day, Y/N did her best to make a good impression. She helped with the cooking, engaged in polite conversation, and even complimented Emma's father on his well-kept garden. However, the tension in the room didn't dissipate entirely, and Y/N couldn't help but feel a little uneasy.

As the day drew to a close, Emma's father asked Y/N to step outside with him. They stood on the porch, looking out at the setting sun, the air heavy with unspoken words. Finally, he turned to Y/N and spoke in a low, gruff voice.

"I hope you know, Emma means the world to me. She's always been my little girl, and I've watched her heartbroken more than once. So, here's the deal," he said, his eyes piercing into Y/N's. "I don't care who you are or where you come from. But if you ever hurt her, if you ever break her heart, I will break your bones. Do we understand each other?"

Y/N's heart raced as she looked into the stern face of Emma's father. She nodded, her voice barely above a whisper, "Yes, sir, I understand."

He nodded in return, a hint of a smile touching the corners of his lips. "Good. I can see she cares about you, and that's all that matters. Just remember, I'm a father first, and I'll do anything to protect my daughter."

With that, he extended a hand to Y/N, and she shook it firmly. They both knew that this stern conversation was a testament to the love and concern he felt for Emma.
