As CC stepped into Y/N's room to work on their music project about an artist they could choose, she was immediately captivated by the vibrant energy that filled the space. Posters of bands adorned the walls, an electric guitar stood proudly in one corner, and lots of Cds and Lps filled her cupboards. CC couldn't help but be drawn to the eclectic guitar her eyes wide with wonder as she took it all in.

"Wow, your room is amazing," The blond girl exclaimed, her voice filled with awe as she moved around the room, admiring each detail.

Y/N chuckled in response, a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes. "Thanks," she replied nonchalantly, her tone tinged with sarcasm. "It's a work in progress."

CC couldn't help but smile at Y/N's dry humor, feeling a sense of kinship with the enigmatic girl. She made her way over to the electric guitar, her fingers itching to touch the instrument.

"Can you play it?" CC asked eagerly, turning to Y/N with a hopeful expression.

The skater girl raised an eyebrow, a sassy smirk playing on her lips. "Why would I have one if I couldn't play it?" she retorted, her tone teasing.

CC's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, and she quickly backtracked. "I don't know, maybe you just have it as decoration or something..."

Y/N rolled her eyes playfully before gesturing for CC to join her on the bed. As the young soccer star sat down next to her, Y/N picked up her electric guitar, her fingers expertly finding the strings. She began to play the opening riff of "Seek and Destroy" with effortless skill, filling the room with the raw energy of the music.

CC watched in awe as Y/N played, completely mesmerized by her talent. "Holy shit, that was so cool!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement. "Do you think you could teach me how to play sometime?"

Y/N chuckled at CC's enthusiasm and rolled her eyes with a hint of amusement, before setting the guitar aside and standing up wanting to get the things they would need for the assignment. the blonde followed eagerly, pleading the grunge girl to teach her how to play.

"Oh, come on, please," CC begged, her words tumbling out in a rush. "I promise I'll-"

Before she could finish her sentence, CC stumbled over her own feet and fell forward, crashing into Y/N and sending them both tumbling to the ground. The blonde landed on top of Y/N, her heart pounding in her chest as she looked down at the girl beneath her.

For a moment, time seemed to stand still as CC found herself lost in the girl's gaze. Her eyes drifted to Y/N's lips, her breath catching in her throat as she leaned in closer-

"Um, could you maybe get off now?" Y/N's voice broke through the haze, pulling CC out of her trance.

The girl nodded quickly, her cheeks burning with embarrassment as she scrambled to her feet. She retrieved the book they needed for their assignment, trying to ignore the teasing glint in Y/N's eyes.

As she sat back down on the bed, Y/N chuckled softly, a fond smile playing on her lips.

"Uhm... How about we take an artist we both like?" CC suggested, trying to ignore the akward situation they just had.

Y/N nodded in agreement. "Sure, who do you listen to?" she asked, genuinely curious.

CC hesitated for a moment before admitting, "I'm actually not really a music fan. I just listen to whatever is playing on the radio. You know, I never put something on on purpose."

Y/N gasped playfully offended at that revelation. "What do you mean? That sounds like hell. How can you live without music?"

CC laughed at Y/N's dramatic reaction. "Oh, come on, not everyone is wearing their headphones 24/7, you know."

Y/N chuckled in response and shrugged. "Yeah, but they should be. Music is such an enrichment for everyone. But back to you, you really don't have any artists you like?"

CC shook her head with a smile. "Nope, like I said, I don't listen to music that often."

Y/N overdramatically shook her head in mock disbelief before standing up and extending her hand to CC. "Come on. I'm showing you my all-time favorites now."

CC blushed slightly at the gesture but took Y/N's hand nonetheless, allowing herself to be led over to the record player. Y/N selected a bright yellow LP from her collection, the things written on its cover obscured from CC's view.

With a mischievous smirk, Y/N placed the LP on the turntable and declared, "Trust me, this is one of the best bands of all time. The Sex Pistols are just the best."

As the first song filled the room, CC found herself caught up in the energy and rebellious spirit of the music. Before they knew it, they had spent the whole afternoon listening to Y/N's favorite albums, completely forgetting about their assignment.
