Dear grandma,
I'm sorry you lost him
I'm sorry he's no more
I know its hard
but I need you to be strong
to have faith
in what is planned
I can't see you like this
none of your children can see you like this
suffering, trembling in pain
I don't know how it feels
to lose a loved one to God
but it must feel like losing all that you've known
like losing a part of your soul
and having to let it go even though you don't know how
but even if I tried to explain it
I can't begin to fathom your pain and all that you're going through
forgive me if I don't say the right things
I know for a while you won't be ok
and it's okay
you need time to accept and grieve
but when you need a shoulder
or a hand
your children will always be here
I pray it becomes easier for you
