𝗜 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗜 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄

𝕀 𝕋𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕜 𝕀 𝕂𝕚𝕟𝕕𝕒 𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝕂𝕟𝕠𝕨

𝙈𝙤𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙬 hasn't had the easiest life so far in her fifteen, nearly sixteen, years of living. When she was younger, her mom had left without a word. To this day, Moon still didn't know why her mom had left, or if she was even still alive for that matter. But, after she left, her dad had changed. In Moon's first few years of living, her dad was a kind and loving man, but she doesn't remember that. After Moon's mom left, her dad became angry and abusive, making him release his anger out on his two daughters, Moon and Star Shaw. Growing up, Star would always take the beatings and the shouting so Moon wouldn't have to, but it had gotten to the point where Star couldn't take it anymore. So, when Moon was thirteen years old, she lost her older sister to suicide. While Moon was dealing with the loss of her sister, she also had to deal with her dad, who started taking his anger out on the younger girl, being the only person in the house he could take his anger out on. That year was hell for Moon, feeling like she had no one to turn to, making her mental health be shattered and started slowly losing herself. But, that all changed on her last day of middle school, when her best friend, Alex, had noticed bruising on Moon's face.

Moon has been best friends with Alex Walter since she was a baby. The two were inseparable; you would barley see one of them without the other by their side. So, when Alex started noticing that Moon had changed, and would show up to school with continuous injuries, Alex got worried for the girl. While he never brought it up to his parents, because Moon kept insisting she was fine, he knew something was up, and Moon showing up with bruises covering her face to school made Alex know that he had to tell his parents about his worry for Moon. On that day, Alex told Katherine and she contacted the police. After months of being at court and Moon being in foster care, Katherine got custody of Moon and she went to live with the Walters.

Katherine and George were happy taking in Moon because they love her like a daughter and the boys got along with her. While Moon got along with all of the Walter kids, she was closer to five out of the rest. Obviously she was close with Alex as they've been best friends their whole lives, she is close with Danny as they both love theatre, she is close with Parker as she is the only other girl in the house under thirty, she is close with Nathan as they love music and talk about boys, and then there is Isaac. Moon never knew how she was close to Isaac, mostly because they have nothing in common, but the two love each other... not in that way. They mostly became close when Moon had moved in. Katherine had given Moon her art room to stay in, which is right next to Isaac and Lee's room, and during the night Moon would have nightmares so bad that she would wake up screaming. Every night Isaac heard her and went to her room, calmed her down and stayed with her until she fell asleep again. After that, the two formed some kind of bond between each other, as friends.
